By Monday morning, he came by and finished installing the new door within 2.5 hours.

Alex is the man. He showed up promptly and walked me through the steps on what was causing my gate to malfunction. He also made recommendations on how to prevent it going forward and also applied some grease to the actuator arm for preventive maintenance free of charge.
