We knew we’d need a new garage door and opener eventually but we’d put it off until my husband jammed the door and.bent the rails. Then it became an urgent need. Contra Costa Door to the rescue! Even knowing that our door wouldn’t work as is, the salesman wasn’t high pressure; he gave a fair estimate (which was lower than we expected) and presented some interesting options. We were able to get on their installation schedule pretty quickly, and Chris the installer arrived promptly and fully prepared to put our new door in. No hiccups or delays! Results speak for themselves: a modern garage door with a wall mounted opener! Thank you!

Good people, good product, good value. After getting a couple of quotes for a new garage door, we found Contra Costa Door. As it turned out, they had installed our original door 47 years ago. Mike and the team did a great job getting us what we wanted and they did it faster and at a lower price than the competition. Great all-around experience.

Bill and the rest of the staff are wonderful people. They are very friendly and sincere and trustworthy. My nephew and I visited and checked out alot of their displays. He had a blast! They are one of the few garage door companies that still have an actual showroom! I would highly recommend them for the quality and customer service.

Fast response. Knowledgeable team to answer all of my questions and concerns. Roger was extremely kind and helpful. The technician who came out was prompt and arrived within the noted time and gave a full assessment before starting the work. We had side rubber and wood strip insulation panels installed around the door to seal any area that potential critters,water or light could sneak in. Jose was our repair tech, and he truly took pride in his work. His measurements and work was precise!Jose also put new rubber on the bottom which was worn. Our door is closing and sealing beautifully. All areas are closed and no light comes through. Mission accomplished! We are doing thrilled and appreciate Contra Costa door service from the first call to the completion of the job. We will use Contra Costa Door in the future if needed. Dont go to those other companies. They are way overpriced and only want to sell you more than you need. Pricing at Contra Costa Door is reasonable and fair. Remember, they are closed on weekends, so plan accordingly. They work late in the afternoons, which is great! Thank you, team!

I have to write a review about CCD - specifically, Kevin. We bought our house about 18 months ago and have had a garage door that has been working perfectly since the day we moved in. I panicked yesterday morning when the door would not open no matter what I did (i.e. lift manually, etc.). After a while of trying, I started to panic and called the number on the sticker attached to my door. I was connected to Kevin around 8:30a who not only calmed my worries but spent 20+ minutes with me on the phone - walking me step by step through how to get my door open. I was on a ladder at one point, double clicking my door remote and lifting my door simultaneously, etc. After an hour of trying, I was finally able to get my car out of the garage and made it to work before 10a. Kevin then proceeded to get me on his maintenance team's schedule later in the week, but also gave me a variety of different options for fixes/solutions. While we did not end up using CCD to fix our door (we sought out a family friend who could do it for free), I have to write this review re: the customer service I received. Thank you, Kevin, and the CCD team for being there for past, present and future customers. A truly awesome business!

So I called and spoke to Kevin regarding my moms garage door. I taught Kevin provided good customer service, he was honest and direct with me, which is what I appreciated. My moms door got fixed and service at a timely matter and there was no hidden charges. I will be using them again. Thanks

Jose fixed our broken spring, and lubed up everything else inside of half an hour for the same price the previous company quoted us for the parts alone. Friendly, highly professional service. Five solid stars. UPDATE 2/11/25: One of our cables unraveled causing uneven door tension, resulting in a jam. We spoke to Linda, who sent Chris out the next morning. In less than 15 mins, we had our fix at zero charge. These are your people, People.
