I called Garage Door Pros after waiting for another company for almost a week and they cancelled on me. I called garage door pros on Thursday and Chuck Johnson from Garage Door Pros, LLC was scheduled to arrive Fri, Dec 22 between 8:00am-10:00am. Chuck and his partner came in around 8:15 and was complete with the job by 9am. They were quick and very nice and clean. They were awesome to deal with and prompt to call back. I will definitely be calling them back.

Happy with our new garage door. The installers were flexible while dealing with our unique doorway situation. The lead installer definitely knows what he’s doing. Only complaint is they shattered a light bulb and left all the glass for me to pick out of the dirt floor.

I was calling around for a garage door repair on the weekend. They were the first ones to respond on a Sunday on a snow day. I didn’t get any other quotes and I had a feeling the quote was high but I needed it fixed, so I told him to go ahead and fix it. The price was $800 For a broken spring, and a few other miscellaneous parts. The next day on a Monday calls started coming in from people calling me back. The garage door company that I normally Isn’t open on the weekends but they called me back on Monday and told me their price would have been $450. Others price was around $400. I expect to overpay a bit for a weekend service, but not pay double. I feel like I overpaid. The response time was fast, the quality of work was good, but the price was not a fair price.

I highly recommend Garage Door Pros. I called and within two and a-half hours I had service. Charlie took care of my issue in a highly professional manner. This is the first time I've ever needed service on my door and I will be calling Garage Door Pros for any future issues I have. Thanks!

Garage Door Pros came same day, on time, and fixed the door. The tech was professional and knowledgable. The job required more work than originally estimated, but they honored their estimate. I would definitely use them again!

Highly recommended for sales and for after-sale service! I would only request that they call ahead of arrival. Compared to 2 other highly-reputed garage door companies in Livonia, GDP offer the best value and warranty I've come across (1 year labor, 5 year for parts and electronics, lifetime for engine). I had them come once for a check of my old systwm + quote me a new system, once to install the new system, and once for routine maintenance. All of their staff are timely, kind, respectful, and very informative. They know what they're doing. I also appreciate that they educate the customer about garage door care. The price difference with other companies was not huge, but GDP's pricing system was more straightforward than others, which made me feel comfortable.

Same day service is pretty remarkable. We needed a new lift mechanism which was an expensive cost, but worth it because our old door would get stuck all the time. It's nice we have a keypad for entry as well. Thanks for the work from our serviceman.
