⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Antonio is a true garage door hero! From the moment Antonio arrived, his calm and professional demeanor instantly put me at ease. I had been stressing over my garage door issues for weeks, but Antonio handled everything with such expertise and care that all my anxieties melted away. He explained the problem clearly, offered honest solutions, and worked efficiently to get everything back in perfect working order. Not only is he incredibly skilled, but he’s also kind, respectful, and genuinely cares about doing a great job. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical excellence with such outstanding customer service. Thanks to Antonio, my garage door is running smoothly again—and I can finally stop worrying. Highly recommend him to anyone needing garage repairs. He’s the best!
Ozzie rolled up to service my garage door and brought his phenomenal helper with him — both of them absolute rockstars. Not only did they dial in my door like Mandalorians on a mission, but Ozzie walked up with coffee and donuts. Coffee. And. Donuts. Who does that anymore?! The service was flawless, fast, and honestly felt like a neighbor helping out, not a company upselling me. My garage door is running smoother than a Jedi starfighter, and my morning was brighter. If you’re lucky enough to get Ozzie and his helper, you’ve basically won the day. This is the way.
Mr Rogers... AKA PJ, is an awesome young man! Very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm not an easy learner when it comes to garage door opener and programming them. So glad he was here. He took the time to explain everything he did all while assureing me I was not in the way. I know I was lol! Definitely recommended A1 and request PJ if you want a similar experience. Im not sure who is reading this but if PJ works for you, give this young man a well deserved raise and put him in charge of training others on how to interact with customers. Update: PJ at my request, returned to my home to fix an issue with the garage door opener he installed. He worked diligently to assess the problem. After a short while, he discovered there was no problem with the opener. The sound I thought was coming from the opener, was coming from another piece of equipment in my garage. PJ was very understanding and we had a chuckle over it. He is an awesome young man. Promote immediately!
Zachary arrived at the time stated, which is very important to me. He installed both garage motors with perfection he even went out of his way to make sure the app was installed correctly on my phone. A1 Garage Door and Zachary are the best. All the remotes are working properly. Thank you Zach and hope you enjoyed dinner.
6/17 The day arrived. We had an appointment time of between 8a-1pm. Installer arrived at 9:30am. Acceptable. He worked efficiently. Kept me informed. Also acceptable. Finished, cleaned up. Acceptable. They offer a yearly plan to inspect the garage door, etc. Making any adjustments that may be needed. Extending the life of your doors. I got it. I recommend you do as well. New doors are an investment. You must protect your investment. Where I take issue is the myQ app that allows one to control the door from your phone if you have motors installed. The app is not as dummy proof as I was lead to believe. I bumbled through it to get my phone app working. That surprised me. Thankfully, my wife can sign into the account I set up. We can share. That’s a relief. I was able to cancel the service call tomorrow to get help with the app. My track record with stuff like this stinks. I would like to see them make sure that this is also done prior to leaving. If that had been today during install, tomorrow wouldn’t be necessary. God willing, I can successfully bumble 2x today, and cancel their coming out at all. Not all of us are very app savvy. This was a missed opportunity to educate the customer. Would have saved me hours of extra time. Previous: We have needed new garage doors for 8 years. Why is irrelevant. Top two panels came out of their rolling pins about 2 weeks ago & damn near hit my head. I knew it was time to get them replaced. I called several companies to come out & give me a quote. One wanted to charge me $19.95 to come out. Said I was paying for their time. I reminded him that I’m the customer. They are trying to earn my business. The phone rep hung up on me. I made arrangements for 3 places to come out this week. The 1st was Monday, 6/02. They called me morning of. Said short handed, but we could do it over the phone. I declined. Told phone rep to have someone call me to reschedule. I never heard from them again. Tuesday, 6/03: A1 was scheduled. Estimator showed on time. Did his thing. Left. Perfect. No high pressure sales. Wednesday, 6/04: 3rd company came out. I’m still waiting for their estimate. Same day, I received a follow up communication from Brad at A1. I explained WHY we need new garage doors. Without boring any readers with all the details, he made it happen. He checked all my boxes. I am NOT an easy sale. Quite the opposite. Any of this current writing, an Install Date is set for 6-17. Financing is in place. More to follow on the actual installation & pics. For now, posting pics of our current worn out doors.
Absolutely thrilled with the service! Oscar is incredibly knowledgeable about the inner workings of my garage door. He arrived right on time, which I really appreciated. His explanation of the maintenance program was clear and engaging, making everything easy to understand. I can’t wait for Oscar to come back!
I would give the technician Mark 5 stars. He was on time, polite, and put together the quote I asked for. We were just getting quotes today, and honestly the A1 quote was a bit high. I asked Mark to email me the quotes as I had someone else coming out later in the morning to give a 2nd quote. He was fine with that, very polite. (Although it's now been almost 5 hours and I have no emailed quotes yet) About 10 minutes later, Mark came back with someone from their "Solutions Desk" trying to pressure me into getting the service done today. That's a star off my review right there! Mark seemed uncomfortable and didn't really seem to want to push a hard sell, but clearly the Solutions Desk did. So I would give Mark 5 stars, but I only give A1 3 stars.
