Mr. Handyman of Hampton - Newport News

7/29/25-We are pleased with the overall service we received from Mr. Handyman. We had some trim on our house repaired and the side access door to our garage replaced. Communication was great from the initial contact with the company. Tiffany was friendly, helpful and prompt with getting back to us with a quote and setting up an appointment. We had an appointment for the services to be completed within a few days of setting it up & at a time that was convenient for us. Anthony C. was our Service Professional and did a fantastic job. He was a great communicator and made sure we were 100% satisfied with his work. We will definitely be using Mr. Handyman again! 8/30/25-Another great job by Anthony C.! He replaced all of our fence ,except one side that belonged to the neighbor. Anthony is such a hard worker and aimed to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. Our fence looks great! Thank you!

I am disappointed by the work that was completed by Mr. Handyman. They repaired wood rot around the dormer window on my house. This work was completed on May 30, 2024. I noticed on October 30, 2025 that the area they repaired looks different than when it was initially completed. The area where the repair occurred looks older than the rest of wood strip. The new looks old and the old looks new. I did contact Mr. Handyman and they stated that the warranty for this work has expired, however if I pay another fee, they can fix the area in question for me. I feel like the work they completed should not look like this after less than 18 months.

I can't say enough great things about Joshua! He was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. My mother and I were quite busy during the week, but Joshua was incredibly trustworthy and took great care of our bathroom while we were at work or running errands. He was always so helpful, offering expert advice as we selected our tiles and guiding us toward the best choices for our remodel. We’re especially thrilled with his recommendation for the Delta shower head—it was perfect! If you’re considering a bathroom remodel, I highly recommend this company, and specifically Joshua, for a smooth, professional experience. You won’t be disappointed!

Had a great experience with Joshua! They were very professional and courteous told me prices before they started the job. If there was additional prices, they told me those as well before they continued each job would recommend to family and friends. The only issue I had and this was after the fact after he left, I did have one showerhead that didn’t work. It worked before they came, but didn’t work after so I’m just gonna replace it and the light fixture was working before but now it just flickers, but other than that, they were great Before and after pictures of each bathrooms

Our service person handyman was excellent. Tackled a difficult job of repairing a large dining room table. Quick and cost of job equaled the quote given. Very Happy!!!

I would highly recommend Mr. Handyman. They provide excellent prompt service. I had them install a new kitchen faucet. Not only was the technician cordial, professional and competent but he was considerate in covering his work shoes showing respect for the cleanliness of my home. For any plumbing needs, give them a call. You won't be disappointed.

Did an exellent job repairing drywall in the closet after installation of furnace. There was large hole in the wall of the closet and now it is just perfect you cant tell it was ever there and on the outside of the closet on the left hand side there was large open crack the whole length of the closet, now it’s totally gone, painted the area to match the surrounding area and he bought a new door nob for the closet door because he noticed that it wasn’t working well. Anthony "Big Tone" is a lovely person who is very knowledgeable an expert in his job. I will definitely be recommending him to family and friends.
