Wow, in a word! Knowledgeable, professional, very competitively priced, attentive to details. Whether you are looking for an inexpensive garage door solution or a high quality $$door install, just meeting and talking to him you will understand Matt has the experience, expertise, and passion for his work. We were referred to Matt’s company, Peninsula Garage Doors, by a roofing contractor who does top notch work and is the PNW expert in concrete tile roofing design and repair so his recommendation had our attention! Matt had installed garage doors previously for this gentleman. His impression of a very competent owner driven company was spot on! Talk about timing. We had already had several garage door companies out to bid. We were looking primarily at a wood-like door from Clopay - their Canyon Ridge 5 series. A couple companies were clearly out of their element with high end doors so they were out. One of the biggest garage door companies on the Kitsap peninsula provided a bid that was, well, large. Matt came out. We gave him a general idea of what we were looking for and he gave us several doors and options to consider. He never pushed us toward a favored door, so no hard sell at all. Instead he discussed door by door details and installation options like quiet operating front mount motors and hardware. It was during these discussions that we concluded this was the contractor for us. There was no question he had the experience and expertise we were seeking. The very next day he provided us bids for several different doors. We did ultimately select the Clopay door for both the looks and the insulation value. By the way, Matt’s bid came in at 10k dollars less than the large garage door company, for the exact same doors and options! The installation occurred exactly on schedule as he had outlined. We couldn’t be any happier. This is a great company to work with and the quality of installation is impeccable. Matt and Peninsula Garage Doors has my highest recommendation.

Needed our garage door replaced and Peninsula was the most reasonably priced for the area. The entire process from beginning to end was easy and quick. They did an amazing job! Would use them again and highly recommend them to others!

One of the few companies that would give me an estimate over the phone for a broken spring. Final price matched exactly what I was quoted, and was much lower than other quotes received. They came out same day and did a great job. Highly recommend. Matt was very knowledgeable.

Called in the morning after a spring broke this weekend. Very friendly and accommodating. Scheduled quickly with multiple schedule options. On time and extremely friendly, personable and professional techs. I have quite a few projects to work on and will most definitely be contacting them to do the work. On a sidenote, which I discovered while looking for a local reputable company — be observant of the "local" people on various web searches. They can be call centers saying they are local.
