Cheney Door Co - Wichita

Bradon was the best of the best. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received for my garage door opener installation. The technician Bradon made sure everything was set up perfectly. Bradon took the time to walk me through how the opener works and gave me helpful tips for maintenance. The installation was neat, professional, and the opener runs smoothly.

Requested contact for a quote... Gave zip, address and contact info. First thing they ask, what is the city? What was the point of the online data mining? After giving the dimensions of the door explaining this was the rough opening, the rep said thank you we will get back to you with a quote... Wait, I did not give any expanding info. The person will call you back and take that data... I then asked why did you call me if you are going to eventually need to call me back and I will inevitably need to start this over again? He said hold on I will transfer you... The lady that answered, said what size is the opening? They claim the do clear communication on their site, however I was 8 minutes into the call, providing almost now new information. They did not value my time.

Highly recommended. I left a message on Sunday about a broken door spring and it was fixed before 10 am on Monday. The office called before 8 am to confirm the technician would be at my house by 9 and he was right on time. The work was done professionally and the cost was very reasonable. I had the same springs replaced in 2012 and the labor cost was the same in 2025.

We built a new shed and chose to go with Cheney Door instead of the builder installed doors because we had a good, previous experience with Cheney and their product is of a higher quality. The team did a great job and worked quickly. They always cleaned up and were professional and respectful. We had a small issue post installation and the team was great to work with and quickly resolved the problem. In addition, my bank was difficult to work with in regard to paying the invoice; however, the Cheney team was professional, responsive and helped me address the problem. I would definitely recommend Cheney Door and will use them again! Thank you Chris H, Steve C, Suzanne W and Deann W!!

Very prompt service. Chris was the tech that came out. The door was in a dangerous position and close to completely coming out of the track. In less than an hour, the door was operating smoother than it has for years. Very reasonable price. Very pleased with every aspect of the service. I will definitely use Cheney Door again.

Company has been excellent to deal with. Original communication was great and the quote for 2 new openers for our shop doors was extremely competitive. Installation was done on time and follow up has been thorough. Definitely recommend!
