If your a contractor stay away. They are incompetent, do not respond well and will have you chasing for payment. Went above and beyond for customer then tell you months later you forgot to fill something out before we can start processing payment. Never gonna be dealing again with this company. Went above and beyond to give your customer a complete new kitchen and full bath for 25k,unheard of in this economy. But in the one who has to call the company to find out there is a document missing that should have been taken care of with a return phone call, yet in the one who had to reach out to you. Thanks for your hard work!
They are NOT the helpful agency they pretend or are hyped up to be. If you’re a foreigner or have multiple kids & very little income; then they’ll help you. If you have ok income & just trying to live the so called American Dream; forget about it! EVERYTHING becomes a loan which you have to pay back. We were NEVER told about any incentives or programs that was available to help 1st time home buyers with repairs or upgrades. It just so happens that while at the doctors I began chatting with this Hispanic girl & she was the one who started telling me about all these programs Home Headquarters referred her to that paid for her to get new: roof, windows, siding & a energy efficient clothes dryer. Her income:cashier at Dunkin’ Donuts. # of kids: 6. She was more informative & helpful than staff at HHQ!
My experience was horrific, I was approved for a grant, for some reason my paperwork was never received, I had to keep sending it through emails only for them to tell me that it was missing documents and my emails that was sent all documents was there that they had asked for, I got fed up with the going back and forth so I dropped off my entire application paperwork and documents and I received a letter in the mail stating that they needed documents that I had already dropped off and finally someone called me and said that they received everything and by then two different people was calling me and I had questioned them who am I actually working with because I had got a call from the senior mortgage lender and I was told that if she have taken over my file they will no longer be working with me she will so I started trying to find someone to do the work on my own and it became difficult because the work that needed to be done was not enough to cover what needed to be done and I finally found someone to do the work for the that I was allowed and I kept her updated along the way I finally found a contractor that was willing to do the work for the amount that I was approved for I let her and so did the contractor let her know what documentation they needed to submit for program and I still needed another contractor to submit their application for the work and I let her know that was familiar with the program but I was waiting on their estimate , I finally found two contractors so that I could submit bids again because the other contractors said that was too much work for my allowance and I was either told that I would receive an estimate in the email and it was contractors that said it and I never received the email but the contractor that was willing to do the job let her know that they was waiting on a document to because they really wanted the job and I let her also know that I was waiting on the contractor from the list she said ok and when they finally got their documents that she wanted and she told them that I was dropped from the program and at first I thought it was a mix up and when I called her she told me that I was dropped from the program because I was not communicating with her and it took me too long to get things done I had to find out through the contractor she dropped me and on top of that I had just talked to her three days before she dropped me I was telling her everything along the way she said ok and three days later she told the contractor she dropped me and I was puzzled where did all of this come from because I did communicate with them , they kept asking for documentation that I had already sent them, my file kept being transferred to other people to it and the person that started helping me I had to let her know that the senior manager took over but she took none of that into consideration when I told her that if they had not been losing my documents me trying to find my own contractors and them letting me know that I was approved I was communicating with them and then she told me it’s a program in the Fillmore area that I could go to I told her that she redlined me and she had no plans of helping me anyway
Dont do the classes its a scam they are hustling people and wont call back and it will just be one big headache just to get a bullshit loan they told me it was a grant and lied to me but its not its a loan so i wasted valuable time and $50 or whatever the fee was for the classes you can do for free elsewhere.

We had a great experience using Home Headquarters as our lender. Kylie Miller went above and beyond for our family to help us secure our first home. She worked quickly to move things along and was always there to answer any questions or concerns we had throughout this process. I would highly recommend this organization to anyone looking for home buyer education or assistance!
These folks are AMAZING! We LOVE our new home, and none of this would have been possible without Home Headquarters! They were patient, understanding, and got the job done. I HIGHLY recommend!
