ECS Home Inspections uses very experienced and professional contractors. I have invested in over 9 properties this year and used ECS for all of them because they are really the best at what they do. I highly recommend them, plus there prices beat any other home inspection company.

I used ECS Home Inspections.THEY WERE GREAT!. He took his time to check the whole home. We received our report the following morning with all the issues that were wrong in colored photos and notes. Very happy with how well he knew about house and the customer service the company provided. I have heard many horror stories from other reviews and friends, but I can say that I am very pleased with my choice.

I've used ECS numerous times for my clients. Recently, their service and quality of work has been called into question. The final straw that broke the camel's back was when their inspector left a stove on overnight, and I returned to my client's property to find it filled with carbon monoxide. The stove was an older one, and the thought that the entire place could have gone up in smoke made me sick to my stomach. It just so happens on this very same property their inspector decided to charge me an additional $100 because there was a kitchenette in addition to the kitchen. The kitchenette consisted of one sink and one, small stove. He spent maybe an additional 10 minutes 'inspecting' the kitchenette, so I guess that was worth $100. When I contacted the owner to discuss what had transpired, he proceeded to offer excuses and actually blame others. And to top it off he avoided speaking with me on the phone and instead sent an email. I will never use ECS again. Their customer service is terrible and there are serious quality concerns with their inspections. UPDATE: 8/19/17: I recently discovered that on 4/24 two Yelp reviews were left by ECS. They created a page for me on Yelp and then left bogus reviews. This is after the owner threatened me via email that if I were to leave a negative review for them they would attack me. To be clear, the two negative reviews on Yelp are from individuals I've never met nor worked with. Their locations are drastically outside my area of work (by hundreds of miles in one case) and the names are obviously fake. I really, really recommend you stay away from this company.

ECS was not my first choice, this is the third house I purchased and my previous inspector was busy. After searching online this company was available and cheap, please spend a couple more dollars and get a more thorough inspection company. After the inspection I had a a/c repair company look at my house and they found asbestos exposed clearly in the attic, after calling ECS they said it was in the fine print that they do not look for asbestos! That same a/c repair person clearly showed me some dry rot on the side of my house. What??? Why did I just pay an inspector to look at my house? This is a really unprofessional company, hopefully I don't find many more surprises. Do yourself a favor and please pay an extra $50 - $100 to know what is really happening in your new home! AVOID ECS HOME INSPECTIONS.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! They inspected my home for a new purchase. Two sliding glass doors didn't open all the way because the tracks were buckling, and the window framing was also buckling. It turns out, the free es extensive structural damage to the house. They said they would look into it and never sent ONE PERSON to my house to even look at what their inspector missed. I'll see them in court, but DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
