Jeff Mac Home Inspection

I am considering putting my home on the market within the next few months and needed a company that specializes in home inspections to inspect my home prior to my listing it. I reached out to several friends and realtors for recommendations and many of them recommended Jeff Mac Home Inspection Company. I took their advice and spoke with Jeff, and it was obvious immediately that I had made the right choice. Jeff is extremely knowledgeable about the entire inspection process and he took the time to explain it to me in great detail so that I would feel comfortable with the process. I was very impressed with Jeff’s customer service skills and the time he spent with me to make sure I understood the entire process. I had some additional questions after my initial contact and Jeff returned my call promptly and answered all of my questions. Had a very good experience with Jeff for a prepurchase inspection of a home. He was very thorough,knowledgable and very friendly.My inspection report was 40+ pages long and included pictures and descriptions of each individual issue that was wrong with the house. I would definately recommend his service to any future home buyer.

I hired Jeff to inspect a home I was planning on buying. After being in my home for less than a year I am finding out what a terrible inspection he did. We have had nothing but problems. Our roof and gutters have both had to be replaced. Both of these things he raved about being great. We have a flooding basement, and huge crack in the basement wall. The list of issues goes on and on of things that he said were fine and we now know are not. Being first time buyers we trusted his knowledge. Huge mistake. Sadly, we were asked to sign a document saying we would not hold him liable for anything he missed. If he had done his job correctly we would have known the issues and would not have purchased our home. Think twice before hiring this man. It will save you a ton of heartache, headache, and money. ***update*** found yet another major issue he missed today. We now have to have plumbing redone. This contractor said what several others have said.. "This should have been found during inspection"

Jeff is extremely thorough and goes out of his way to make sure that his job is done in a professional manner. He explains things in great detail and is adamant that his client has all the information that they need to make an informed decision. I would recommend him to any and everyone needing his services!
