Inspector Catch-it Home Inspection

Dave was great to work with and he was very professional! We used him based on the recommendation from our agent and he did a great job! He is very thorough and methodical. He uses the latest inspection techniques and tools and made the entire process very easy. He encouraged me to follow along and ask any questions along the way. We received the report the next morning after the inspection and he provided both an easy to read summary as well as the detailed report with tons of pictures. He has clearly been doing this for a long time and I would easily recommend him to anybody else!

We recently used inspector catch-it to inspect a house we are buying. He arrived early and was very friendly and personable. He took his time and used the whole 3 hours to thoroughly inspect the house from top to bottom. When he was done he went through his findings​ with us and explained everything in detail. He was knowledge about current laws affecting the property. He emailed the report that same evening! His report included many photos and detailed descriptions including recommendations. It was also color coded based on urgency. This was incredibly helpful for making our repair requests. He was also readily available by phone to answer additional questions we had. He also provided us with a veteran discount. We highly recommend him for anyone buying a home!!

We recently used Inspector Catch-IT for an inspection on a home we are purchasing. We found Inspector Catch-It on Yelp. After reading the reviews and viewing their website, we decided to go with him and found their service to be 100% as advertised. They have a website that is very easy to use, whether it be getting a free quote, schedule appointments, or signing in to view your reports. Communication was amazing, as I was emailed and sent a text message confirming appointments, confirming payment, and reminders of the appointment that was made. Paying for the home inspection was effortless. I chose to pay in advance and was pleased to find out that it was done through Square (being a techy, this was a major plus in my book, because it shows me that they are keeping up with all the technical advances in today's world). On the day of the inspection, David with Inspector Catch-It was on time (if not a bit early), dressed in a professional and proper attire, equipped with tool belt holding all the necessary equipment to do the job. He was very friendly and explained everything he was doing and why. He wasn't afraid of getting dirty or sweating in the attic for as long as was needed to make sure everything was inspected properly. David took his time inspecting the exterior, walking the roof, interior, appliances, and attic. The total time of inspection with full discussion afterwards was approximately 3.5 hours. His personality is very open and invites you to ask him anything. Not only was David thorough, but he was very pleasant and took the time to explain any potential issues he found in detail and with patience David had the report ready and emailed it to me on site, it included numerous pictures of everything that needed to be addressed (close up and wide views) and things that I may want to address to prevent future damage. His report was long, but very easy to understand. I love that he provides a summary report because it has a more simplistic approach access the issues found in the home inspection. After David's inspection, we felt very confident in our home purchase and can’t wait to move in. I highly recommend David and Inspector Catch-It and will work with him again next time we need a home inspection.
