David did a home inspection for us a couple of months ago. He was was extremely thorough and meticulous. He walked us through everything and explained what needed to be done . He was a pleasure to work with .
We have been using Eagle eye for about 6 years now! David was recommended to us by our real estate agent, Wes Stearns when we first bought our first home. David is a very thorough inspector; he even made sure we were aware of having a radon inspection; and we are glad we did because there were high level of radon in the basement; and we had the sellers install the mitigation system! He's excellent and pays attention to every little detail. Now we have purchased a new construction home and he came out to inspect it before drywalls went up; he assured me there were minor things to be fixed and that the house was looking good. I HIGHLY recommend David for any type of home inspections; he will NOT disappoint.
Thanks to David Grant of Eagle Eye Home Inspection! He did such a thorough inspection of the house we put under contract in Arlington, VA! He went above and beyond, even sticking his head up through insulation in a porch ceiling to check out the underside of the roof. He also offered super helpful home maintenance tips along the way. It was evident he is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the home and problems that could arise. We would highly recommend him!
Excellent home inspection!! We’ve used Dave twice. He was recommended to us by our Real Estate agent - Karen Stevens (also an amazing recommendation). Dave walked thru a potential home for us and found MAJOR problems that we would never have seen or known to look for. He gives a very thorough walkthrough that includes instructions for maintenance and areas to keep a special watch on. We ended up passing on the house he initially inspected due to his report. As we continued to looked for homes we looked at them with new eyes. Opening cupboards to look for water damage and mold. Leaky toilets and bathtubs. We looked at HVAC units and water heaters carefully and finally found a home we felt comfortable with. In this market we opted to void inspection, but didn’t feel comfortable moving in until it had Dave’s inspection so we knew what we were up against! After closing, but before moving in, we walked thru with him and again he provided an excellent service. His first inspection provided us with a little confidence and understanding of what to look for. We will use Dave every time! Thanks for your thoroughness and attention to detail. It’s the best peace of mind in the home buying process!!
This company is top notch! I have never been through such a detailed home inspection before. The process is much longer than I had originally expected but that is because Dave is very thorough with his inspection. He even took the time to explain some of the feature of the home that I would have never knew existed. I would highly recommend Eagle Eye for your home inspection, they stand by their name "Eagle Eye".
David Grant from Eagle Eye Home Inspections did an absolutely thorough job. Let me start on how I found him - he actually did the home inspection for a home I sold a couple years ago (Annandale). And I remember reading the report during the selling process and being extremely impressed with how thorough it was. It was the remark of my real estate agent that sealed my thoughts and ultimately my search for a home inspector when the time needed one - my agent said something to the extent of him finding literally every possible thing, items teeny tiny to the very large. I knew I would use EEHI when it was time to buy. And I did. 1st house (Falls Church, VA), we found many things - but one specific major problem. The sellers denied the claim and tried to brush it off as some other kind of incident, making it outrageously more minor than it was. I followed up with David and he clarified and confirmed that the what the sellers claimed, could not be close to possible. Neither party agreed to anything and the contract was void. That home also ended up testing well above allowed levels for both mold and radon. 2nd house (Annandale, VA), we found a bit, but thankfully, nothing major. Contrary to the other home, David cleared the home on many things, and even had to highly commend a few preventative care type things that were in place for the home. This was refreshing (as well as give me great confidence in those areas of the home) and showed me that David is a true expert with a professional fair mind. His ethics and work approach, as well as his skill and extensive experience are obvious when seeing him at work. He was extremely patient with me and my questions when I asked about a couple million of them, regarding each home. I took notes and learned all I could during the walk through. It wasn’t all my asking, he volunteered a plethora of knowledge and information about the home along the way, also offering valuable tips and maintenance advice. However with my questions and curiosity, I am almost certain I extended the length of the inspection by an hour or more, per house. But he was never or at least didn’t seem agitated, or rushed to be done. The service was absolutely excellent and worth every penny, if not more. Great from the start with scheduling, punctuality, communication, inspection and follow up questions. I highly recommend David Grant with Eagle Eye Home Inspections in Virginia.
Thanks David Grant of Eagle eye inspection! Your inspection of Lauren and my house in Annandale Virginia this week was so detailed. You not only pointed out possible red flags, but showed us very helpful maintenance tips for the house — very important to me as an apartment renter for all these years. You inspected the entire house — the inside, outside, backyard and front yard. You even walked on top of the roof and a very tiny crawlspace in the attic. Finally your detailed inspection report with pictures and items to be aware of/red flags, was awesome! Plus you sent it to us about a half hour after you performed our inspection (same day). We strongly recommend you to everyone!
