I originally gave this company five stars due to the ease of scheduling and the quick turnaround on the inspection report — having it delivered same-day (or within 24 hours) was a huge plus and helped keep our home purchase process on track. However, after living in the home and uncovering several issues that were relatively easy to notice, I feel that the inspection itself was very "check-the-box" and didn’t go beyond the bare minimum. For example, one of the kitchen pendant lights was visibly not flush with the ceiling. Upon further investigation, I found it was held up only by wires and electrical tape — a basic safety issue that should have been caught with even a modest amount of attention. It makes me question what else was missed. Ultimately, while this company did what was required, nothing about the inspection felt above and beyond — and when you’re making a major investment like a home, that level of detail and initiative matters. I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience, but I also wouldn’t give a full five stars knowing what I know now.

He was on time, respectful, thorough, and I am just grateful we had someone who was able to get an inspection booked within 5 days in such a busy season. I recently hired NPI to inspect a home I'm in the process of purchasing. Most of the inspection went smoothly, but I had a concern during the bathroom portion. The inspector initially noted there was no exhaust fan and mentioned the potential for moisture buildup. However, while we were still in the bathroom, he noticed the light fixture did include a built-in fan connected to a vent pipe. Instead of confirming where the vent led or verifying its function, he simply said, "Just ask the seller what that is." I was surprised by that response. As a client relying on a professional inspection, I expected a more thorough evaluation — especially for something that directly impacts ventilation and potential moisture issues. This interaction left me questioning the level of detail applied to other areas of the inspection. I hope this feedback helps improve quality control and consistency across your team.
