City of Waco Inspection Services Department

Desk lady was super rude when I requested an eta from the inspector, when I asked I was given an 8 hour arrival window and if im not on site they fail the inspection, when I asked what happens if I need to potty there's no way to get an eta so I dont miss them? I was told really? Are you serious? Yes mam I am serious how would you feel to be told to sit somewhere for 8 hours with no eta and no ability to leave I dont think this is to much to ask for at least forward my number to him. Very unprofessional. Very rude for someone who works in service. You can't expect people to sit around all day no bathroom no food and wait on your people to show with an 8 hour window that's ridiculous. Even more ridiculous that you would be so rude just for asking. Absolutely disrespectful of people's time

Walked into city inspection office phone was ringing no one bothered to answer they were just sitting chatting together. Customer service part -they were so rude and defensive. we have been waiting for 2 months to have inspection sent to oncor and nothing has been done! need to have training on customer service and answering inbound phone calls not to mention returning calls. had to park in parking garage and 3 city inspection truck were driving fast in the garage area when it states 5mph someone could get hit like I almost did not to mention if a child was walking with parent through there!!

Roberta was awesome! She was very informative and has a contagious smile and laugh! Dealing with the general public can be taxing because everyone wants everything done NOW! I was new to the permit process. She was upfront on the timing and she explained the process in a manner in which I could understand as a new person to this. Thanks for your help Roberta!

Archaic process that produces many project delays for smaller contractors. Kristan and Michelle do their best to assist but seems their hands are tied. Can't count the number of frustrating calls I have encountered. But they have both been very accomodating and it is much appreciated.

We waited for yall all day to come and inspect the line running to four apartment buildings. Three of the four homes have asthmatic children. We have nowhere else to go because our complex, nor our renters insurance will cover a hotel room. This will be 36 hours without power in Texas heat. My thermostat currently says it is 86 in our apartment. Thanks

GLAD TO KNOW THAT WHEN YOU GET A ROOF INSPECTED THAT THEY "dont go in the backyard". So of the front is done but the back isnt it will pass anyway. What a waste of time to have that done.

When does the consultant firms contract run out, or is a group of jokers impersonating city of Waco employees.
