Lantz Slate Roof Repair

Can't recommend unfortunately even though he is affordable. Initial service request took several calls to even have them come out, because they often don't answer the phone. When we finally got ahold of Lantz and scheduled the service for a roof leak, the repairs were made weeks after the first call was made. A leak reappeared at the same spot several months later and it took several calls to even speak to a person, otherwise the phone rang constantly with no answering service. When we finally got a hold of him (see the trend here?) we asked if they would come out to see if there was something wrong with the work they had done, and we set a date to come out, but he forgot to show up. Another few phone calls with no answer, finally reached him again and set up another date, and again he no showed despite promising he would call us back with the exact time of his arrival. We wound up having to contract Zimmerman's to repair the work Lantz should have been backing up, so we're basically stuck paying twice. To add insult to injury we come home to find a Lantz yard sign posted in our lawn days after having to go with the other contractor. The audacity to post a yard sign after ghosting on a customer is truly something else.

Professional, knowledgeable, reasonable, and honest. Lantz installed slate on my new home during construction and, from my recommendation, has performed repairs at several other properties. Lantz Slate Roof Repair is one of only a handful contractors I can recommend without reservations.

I have never been so frustrated with a company before in my life and have never felt so driven to write a review. They are great if you like being ignored for weeks even though you have been calling and leaving messages. I left about 10 over the span of a month and a half until I finally got the quote. I have questions on the quote and haven’t heard back for two weeks. Guess he doesn’t need my business and I honestly wouldn’t use him now even if he did finally reach out. It would be one thing if he said that he was very busy but he said it would be 3 DAYS until I heard back. I even sent the company Facebook messages pleading for any kind of response, nothing.

Looked at and made some repairs. My roof hasn't been touched in years. Need to replace metal valleys next .little at a time.
