Since my yard is on a slight slope, the drainage system works with gravity instead of relying on a sump pump, which was a huge relief… no added expense or ongoing maintenance! Communication was clear throughout the process, the team was thorough and worked efficiently, and I appreciated receiving photos of the progress and results. I am more than pleased with Lifetime Basement Waterproofing. I would give them 10 stars if I could. It just rained 9.5 inches as the remnants of Hurricane Helene came through and my basement and garage have stayed bone dry. Seth and his crew were hard workers, polite, and listened to and addressed my concerns. Quoting: Seth came out in person with a notebook explaining the process he would follow to construct an interior drainage system to handle the rain and ground water coming through my cement block foundation. He also explained why an exterior drain system would be more expensive because of my massive earth filled brick front porch. I had sticker shock when I saw the total cost, however given the amount of work required over 3 1/2 days it was fair. The results were priceless. Scheduling. Seth was flexible with my financial situation and agreed to schedule me with a less than 50% down payment. I paid the rest of the down payment at the agreed upon time before he started work. As I contracted with a gutter installer and a roofer he remained flexible and worked with his other clients to move my scheduled date to accommodate their work. Construction. Seth talked to me at every point where he had to remove studs, cupboards, closets, carpeting and a bathtub to make sure I knew why it was needed and was okay with it. All framing and insulation that had mold was removed. They dug a trench that sloped to a sump pump at the rear corner of the garage. Seth showed me the results at the end of each day. I was able to see a flow rate of about a gallon a minute of ground water before they installed the gravel, drain pipe and carefully cemented it in. They added a water barrier on all walls that contacted the ground. His crew worked steadily, doing much of the work by hand. They were polite and friendly. They kept mud out of the house. It was raining hard enough that water came into my backyard and they rescued a neighbor's boat. Clean up. All construction debris was removed. Seth even agreed to take away some other things that the prior home owner left for me to deal with. Best of all my basement has remained bone dry. The smell of mildew and mold that made it difficult to breath walking through there is gone. I highly recommend Lifetime Basement Waterproofing.

His proposal was the most comprehensive and detailed and the pricing was competitive with other proposals that I received. He and his crew started the work on the day that it was scheduled and worked full days and completed the work on consecutive days until it was done. I was very pleased with the project management and the workmanship. The drainage system and waterproofing of the basement are both operating as expected and we have not had any issues since the work was completed.

I hired Seth to repair five separate basement leaks in three different houses. I keep going back to Seth because he keeps doing an amazing job. Most recently, he installed french drains in the basement and encapsulated the area. They showed me the system in action and left my unfinished basement looking cleaner than they found it. Seth has also installed drains to move water away from the house and sealed water lines that passed through the basement wall.
