I initially called Peter regarding an intermittent issue with my old furnace. He didn't charge me for the first visit since he couldn't confirm the problem as "solved" I ended up getting a new furnace (my choice), and I had researched the cost of one. His costs are very reasonable. He and his team installed my new furnace in a day. He made sure I understood everything that is done, how the system is supposed to work and he stressed the importance of reaching out to him if I had any questions. Peter and his team found some issues in my house that were not related to the furnace, but were safety issues that he didn't feel comfortable leaving and ended up fixing. It would be hard-pressed to find another HVAC company that is affordable, communicative, and this supportive. I highly recommend M.D. Ewald.

The furnace that came with my house, quit working in the month of February, 2005. I called MD Ewald and they came the same day! After looking it over, we determined the old furnace would not be cost effective to repair. My husband and I chose the furnace and they installed a high-efficiency model with an air filtration system in one day. There was a huge difference in how quickly and inexpensively my house warmed up! They've come and serviced it every year since and it looks just as it did the day they put it in. Peter and his crew have been a pleasure to work with. Whether it was Christmas Eve day a few years ago that he showed up got our very old furnace working until he schedule a time to replace it for us or today when I woke up and the furnace was off and just need to replace a fuse in the unit. He and his people are very courteous and professional .

Roman from M D Ewald came out same-day for an issue involving our central air. He was able to explain the problem and fix it quickly for a fair price.

Our HVAC system required replacement - as more parts were breaking down or leaking.. Peter was wonderful, answered all our questions, provided options given our budget, and the install was quick and they left our indoor and outdoor areas clean! No regrets, highly recommend

Had an issue with our furnace in the fall, previous furnace was from 1998. Pete was recommended from a friend and came over right away to diagnose the issue. He said I had a cracked heat exchanger and recommended a replacement. Felt very good about his professionalism and had him do the replacement. What a great decision! It was about to turn fall and I could not afford to have problems going into the winter. He and his team did a tremendous job and completed their work in a day. He showed me the failed heat exchanger and his diagnosis and replacement suggestion was spot on. Price was also lower than I expected but don't tell Pete that! Excellent work to Pete and team. I'm glad to have found such a reliable, trustworthy, and responsive company.
