We had Monyer Electric install a whole house generator for us a few years ago. We have had Monyer do our annual service ever since then and have been very happy. Over the weekend, our generator unexpectedly shut down. I sent an email to the office describing the problem and got a reply first thing Monday morning. They scheduled a tech to visit that same morning and the problem was fixed very quickly. We had our generator up and running by lunchtime. That is OUTSTANDING service!

Monyer personnel were efficient, courteous and professional with installation and my annual service. Fortunately, our power was out just once in the last three years and the Generac 18 k performed admirably. I recommend Monyer to anyone seeking a whole house generator. Monyer installed my 18k standby generator last June and all though only needed it a couple of times during the winter it worked flawlessly and having piece of mind knowing it's there when needed is awesome. Monyer installed our 16K Generac and services it. We've had 2 issues w/ it, both requiring onsite servicing for which urgency was/is crucial. Most recently it ran overnight - about 15 hours total - long after line electricity was restored. The first service call supposedly fixed the problem, but it happened again about a fortnight later. This time, we knew to confirm line outage was very brief and we manually shut off the Generac - but only after we managed to find the key to unlock the lid. (Monyer says this is standard practice - which we did not know and which is unnecessary.) A second service call could not diagnose a fix, so replacement of the entire control panel is planned, which means a 3rd service call and the generator must be manually controlled til then. (Also a possible 3-4 hours w/o any electricity during installation.) Several days later - and blessedly w/o rain that would require the sump pump to run - two techs arrive w/ a replacement panel ... and the discovery that a low-voltage sensor's failure is the cause of the problem. That's an quick fix and panel does not need replaced. Techs are very courteous as is office staff, but days w/ no auto-backup generator is stressful. Hence a one-star deduct. Both we and Monyer got lucky that we were home and rain was minimal each time. Had we been away on vacation at either time, the dual propane tanks would have been drained and the basement flooded.

Monyer Electric installed our back up generator and did a great job so I called them when I needed our generator serviced so its always ready to go in an emergency. They arrived promptly, informed me what was going to be done during the service appointment, and answered all my questions. I was very happy with the entire process and would recommend them to my friends. I will use them again for future work on my generator. Thanks Monyer for giving me peace of mind!

Monyer Electric just installed our 26kw whole home generator. Nate and Hope were always responsive to questions and follow up. The team who did the installation were professional and respectful of our home and did a clean installation that I am very happy with. They even identified an issue within my breaker box not related to the generator installation for which they are going out of their way to correct. The inspector was also very impressed with the installation and only had great things to say about Monyer electric.
