Mr. Appliance of Huntsville

First, the technician was great! I give him (Brandon) five stars individually. The four stars is a result of not getting enough information on the initial call, having to call back, being told I’d get a call back in a business day, having to call back again because they didn’t call, and finally on the fourth call, got the information I had requested on the first call, except I was expecting a daytime appointment, which was moved to a late afternoon appointment. After that, communication was good as I received a text 24 hours in advance and a heads up text and phone call before the technician arrived. This was for a new dishwasher install and removal of the old unit.

Our GE range oven was not heating up. The online appointment made it easy to schedule a repair date and time. Appreciated a reminder call and picture of technician before the service date, and they were able to move my date earlier. Received notification the technician was on the way and how long before he arrived. Dacoda, the technician, was well qualified to work on our appliance and was prepared to replace the part when he arrived. He explained what was wrong with the oven and what needed to be repaired. My experience was very good and I will call Mr. Appliance again if I am in need of appliance repairs.

I was very pleased with Robert, from Mr. Appliance. He was friendly and professional, and told me what he was doing. He gave me choices of what to do and prices and I appreciated that. It was very efficient, clean, and neat with his work. I really appreciated how quickly he came and repaired my stove, since it was a holiday weekend and I had family coming in.

Was very nice and knowledgeable gentleman. Put on his shoe cover before entering and brought floor cover to protect floor as he took stove apart to see the problem. After telling me about the problem answering my question he went and got the part need to do repair. Returned and fixed my stove! Was awesome experience would recommend them!!

I would love to give this zero stars because I can't fathom how there rating is as high as it is. My warranty company scheduled an appointment only to have them call me right before the appointment to say they were double booked and needed to reschedule. Not a big issue other than the only time they had required me to take off work. I get a text saying the tech was running late but was still coming for my 3-5pm appointment. He shows up at 10pm at night wakes my family up. So now im out a days pay and had this guy show up in the middle of the night. I call the next day to get an appointment and all they have is same time slot. When I bring up the issue of the tech and ask for a morning appointment im told by the manager its all we have but your welcome to seek out another warranty repair company. On second schedule appointment the arrival window passed with no communication. I had to call and have them tell me they were going to be an additional hour. If you do use this company I recommend not taking the last appointment unless you have some extra time to kill waiting or like late night visitors.

The appliance tech (Brandon) showed up on time, assessed the problem with our washer quickly but unfortunately had to order a new control board. He came back 6 days later, installed the part and our machine now works fine. I don’t know about the other techs but Brandon was polite, did his job quickly, cleanly and didn’t seem to mind when I had questions.

Only reason they got one star is because there is not a negative star! What a poor company to deal with. I made an appointment on line two days ago to have my dryer repaired. The Mr Appliance app asked what day would be best for them to come look at it. I picked a day that they had open. I have been here waiting on the technician to show up. I called to check on the status of my appointment at 3:30pm. I had not received a phone call, text or email as they said they would do when I made the appointment. I was told that they were booked out for the day and could not do anything for me. I asked if there was anyone above the nice lady that answered the phone. She tried to get two different bosses to help, but they were not available either. Imagine, running a service business like that. I know that people are busy, but they could have taken time out of their day and let me know. Poor company to deal with in Huntsville Al!
