I just moved to the Jacksonville area and had another local company come out to our home. They told me I needed a new panel and the cost would be 5k. I had PEC come out for a second opinion and they told me there was nothing wrong with my panel, that it was in great condition. This is the kind of business I will continue to support. They did not try to have me buy something I did not need. They were knowledgable, professional and saved me 5k. I am grateful that a colleague reccommended them to me. I recently had Professional Electrical Contracting Inc. (PEC) handle some electrical work at my home, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. The service technician, David Woody, did an outstanding job. He installed five ceiling fans, replaced multiple outlets and switches, and went above and beyond to solve a tricky electrical issue I’d been dealing with for a while. David spent over two hours in the attic tracking down the problem (which turned out to be wiring from a prior homeowner) and ran new line to fix it. I was amazed at how thorough he was and even more surprised at how reasonable the cost was for the amount of time and effort involved. PEC was professional, punctual, and respectful of both my time and my home. It’s rare to find a company that delivers this level of quality and customer care these days. I highly recommend PEC and will absolutely use them again for any future electrical needs.
