Michael is the pest control technician that comes to service the property I live at. I was at work when he came to spray our apartment. He made my daughter feel uncomfortable, we brought it to the attention of the ladies in the office and they feel the same way. He is very inappropriate, flirty. Not professional at all.

The encounter I had with the tech that came to my apartment was beyond unprofessional…it was inhumane. * ****INCIDENT WAS RECORDED AND WITNESSED **** I was having a zoom call with my therapist outside, on my front porch. (I had recently suffered severe injuries and undergone rabies treatment following a dog attack on the property.) The assistant manager of my complex approached with a tech from Roadrunner Pest Management They passed by me unannounced and reached for my door. I excused myself from my therapist and asked what they were doing. The pest control tech and the assistant manager informed me that they were there for an inspection, and needed immediate access or I would face eviction. There was never an appointment scheduled for an inspection from Roadrunner or the complex. It was confusing to me that the pest control tech repeatedly warned me of my lease consequences if he wasn’t allowed access. He was very jumpy and appeared to be under the influence of a stimulant. I repeatedly stated that I was currently in an appointment, and that I wasn’t aware of an inspection. After repeated threats of eviction from the assistant manager and the pest control tech, they informed me that they are going to get the manager and come back. (Roadrunner staff was threatening lease violation write ups) I had no choice but to end my appointment early, and prepare for this unscheduled abuse. The manager of the complex sent me an email at 1:30pm stating that I had until 1:35pm to allow the tech access, or I will be evicted. I was informed that I would not need to speak with the pest control tech, only allow him access. Before I could review the attachments of the email (which included her scheduling error), there was a knock at my door. The Roadrunner tech was standing just outside my door with 4 employees from the complex. I repeatedly asked him to back up, as he was making me nervous and they had shut down my therapist appointment for this. The tech did not move back, and responded, "I’m right here." "This is your fault." As management and maintenance staff stood by with a camera in my face. I asked the tech if he could come back later, he stated "I can but I won’t." I was then forced to separate from my service dog in order to let the aggressive tech in. He reported a dead roach(which died from my own traps/bait) to the apartment manager, which I was charged for multiple units and sent to collections for. I had since reached out to the owner (Carlos Gutierrez) of Roadrunner Pest Management. He laughed at my situation stating that he was aware of the occurrence, yet denied any wrong doing. I was instructed by him to reach out to the complex for the tech’s name….as he refused to provide that information. I have not yet seen any record from Roadrunner Pest Management or my apartment complex of that inspection being scheduled. The Roadrunner tech also admitted to having access to landlord tenant related issues outside of his field of practice, which led him to threaten me with consequences outside of pest management duties. Many home remedies work. Double check with your apartment regarding vendors access/violations. The harassment and invasion of privacy was disgusting. Roadrunner staff/owners are worse than roaches.

I just had my first service from Roadrunner. My technician was Michael. He was polite, courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and told me the treatment he was spraying inside my home was safe for my little dog. Great job!

Inattentive drivers. Not paying attention and just blowing through red lights, almost hit me because he wasn’t even looking. Wouldn’t trust these guys in my home considering they can’t bother to drive safe in a MARKED vehicle. Teach your employees road laws.

Carlos and Joshua are absolutely the best in the business!! Before we found their service we had such a hard time with consistent service even when under contracts with the "big name" companies around town. They are professional and friendly and since we have switched to them for our pest control, not a single issue! Timely, fast, affordable, and friendly service !!! Reach out to these guys because you will not be sorry in utilizing their service

Interactions I’ve had started professional and kind but over the course of communication person passed personal bias and verbally attacked me barking instruction instead of education and nice explanations what cause issues is what I expect being a person who has worked in customer service 25 years I get each case is interpersonal and people learn and do things different but there’s just a lie you don’t cross and I feel that any bias and personal reflections of someone should be set a side when you are working…. Some people have disabilities and things that happen that cause places to get the way they are and are seeking help to resolve the issue not add to it…. Sometimes bluntness is the only way to come across but I feel this person didn’t hold back and fully attacked me and contstantly talks down on me to the point I’ve asked if there’s ways to get anyone else out to do the work overall can’t give but one positive was they accommodated time as for professionalism and results from service No benefits or changes have been made yet but hopefully that changes the quicker this issue is resolved the sooner I don’t have to deal with this and can put it behind Me they got rid of two pest but still dealing with one but again hope this will change
