Capital K9 Bed Bug Solutions

I called the number and got someone that transferred me to a different company and it went to covenant. I tried calling again and it says the number is not in service. I don't know what to make from it. I was looking forward to their service since all the reviews best much about how great they are.

Dave (the human) and Lexi (the K9) just left my home about an hour ago. Dave was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and very kind. I had a bed bug infestation about 4 months ago and had dealt with the problem myself, but was having suspicions for the past couple weeks that maybe I had not gotten rid of all of them. I called Capitol K9 Pest Solutions for some help with my problem and had spoken with Dave on the phone and he was very helpful and was able to schedule in a visit for just a few days later. I had a scheduling conflict which interfered with my appointment, but he was able to work around my schedule and make a visit later in the day, which was awesome. I was expecting to have to reschedule for another day all together. He came and did an extremely thorough search of my bed and bed frame and my roommates as well. He answered all my questions entirely without leaving me with any doubt about my problem. after his search was complete and all my questions had been answered he went and brought in Lexi the K9 who did a thorough search of her own. neither of them had found any sign of bedbugs! Which put me at ease. All together I had a great experience and received excellent costumer service. I highly recommend Capital K9 pest solutions, they were exceptional on all fronts.

Dave and his team were wonderful!!! I found out that I had bedbugs in November 2017. Gross!!! After doing research online, I contacted Capital K Bed. Dave called me back quickly and gave me a lot of information over the phone, and answered all of my questions. He inspected my house and determined the bedbugs were limited to one room. I decided to do a heat and chemical treatment to the upper level, and chemical only to the lower level. (I decided to treat the whole house to be on the safe side.) The team came out as scheduled and completed the work in one day. I have not seen a single bed bug since then. I cannot say enough good things about Dave and his business! My experience with Dave, which I have outlined below, demonstrated he is a man of integrity, who is super kind to clients even when they are freaking out! While my roommates and I were moving out of our home, a professional mover said he thought a bug in our couch looked like a bed bug. I have lived in NYC and seen bed bugs firsthand and the havoc they cause. Therefore, even though I didn't think the bug looked like the bed bugs I had seen in NYC, I freaked out! Thus, I called Capital K9, and Dave returned my call shortly after I left a message. Dave remained kind and extremely patient with me despite the fact that I was freaking out! (I provided too much, unnecessary information providing about the situation - I probably took up way too much of his time, but he remained super nice to me). Despite my hysteria, Dave remained level-headed, and asked me to text him a picture of the bug that we had seen. At NO CHARGE, he identified the bug as a carpet beetle. To reassure me that the bug was a carpet beetle, he sent me pictures of bed bugs and carpet beetles so I could compare for myself. He did all of this AT NO CHARGE! And again, he remained patient and kind despite my panic attack! haha. Dave was also thorough. He asked whether the picture I texted was the only bed we had seen in the couch, or the house writ large, to make sure that there weren't bed bugs AND carpet beetles. Because the carpet beetle was the only bug we had seen, there was no need to schedule an appointment for Dave to test or treat our home. Dave could have charged me to have his dog come to our home, because I would have paid it gladly, but he didn't do that because he is an honest business man! And he was so nice to me even though I had already hit the full panic mode! Thus, I would recommend him to any and everyone looking for help! If I ever found beg bugs in my home in the future, he is the only one I would pay to handle it!

Not that this place needs another 5 star review, but Dave is seriously the best! We recently moved into a new apartment and were not optimistic when my boyfriend woke up on day three with a series of small itchy bites. We both did some research online and Capital K9 stuck out. Dave and his dog were unfortunately booked solid for the next few weeks. He did say that there was another inspector with more dogs in the area, and he would refer me if I'd like. However, he was able to walk me through how to do a self inspection over the phone. As such, that night I was able to do the inspection with my boyfriend and send some pictures to Dave. He was able to confirm that we did indeed have bedbugs and they were hiding in the outlet on the wall that our bed was now against. Nightmare! On the bright side - no need to spend additional money on a K9 inspection. His team was out the next day spraying our apartment. They were professional and knowledgeable. We had our second spray exactly two weeks ago and have not noticed any bugs in the traps we set up and no new bites since then! We're not in the clear yet, but I'm optimistic, and Dave's team was confident our problem was limited to the one room/wall. If you think you have a problem, I could not recommend this team enough. My boyfriend is still a little sad he didn't get to meet the dog, but all things considered this went much smoother and was much less stressful than I ever could have imagined.

When we discovered that our toddler had bed bugs in his room, we called so many places in the DC area looking for help. I was immediately impressed by the time that Dave (the owner of Capital K9) took to talk to me about the situation, the wealth of information/knowledge he had, and the honest way he conducted his business. Unlike some places which only guarantee for a short time after treatment, Dave assured me that his team would not leave us with bugs but would do whatever it took to kill them. And indeed, they did; his team came to spray three times and, in doing so, solved our problem. They were kind, calming, professional, discreet, and efficient. I highly recommend them to anyone with bed bugs.

After being taken advantage at Bradford Pest Control who charged much less, however made the problem worse, we carefully researched and found this company. Since I figured Bradford has now pushed our bugs into the walls I feared we would never be rid of this nightmare. What makes this company successful is #1 They actually know what they are doing #2 They used heat AND chemical together. #3 They were thorough Dana Bradford or his team members treated my home in 20 minutes or sometimes less. They sprayed our home over and over again. Finally they threatened to use a bug bomb and said they would heat some of out home (After I paid even more money). I ended up backing out and never received back my money. Capital K-9 we're there most of the day. After months of hysterical crying, my children literally being eaten alive, no sleep, and constant worry... the bed bugs are gone. It's been about five months and we have not seen one bug (we were heavily infested) since the one treatment by this company. Yes, it is expensive. We had to seek out a credit card to finance the work. Yes, it was worth it a million times over. I thank God and this team of men for making our lives normal again.
