Kairo Heating and Plumbing delivered outstanding service when I needed help with a plumbing problem in my home. A pipe under my toilet had broken and I was bracing myself for a long, messy repair, but their team arrived quickly and took care of everything with ease. They repaired the damaged pipe and reinstalled the toilet, getting it back in perfect working order that very same day. I was so impressed with how professional and knowledgeable they were, and they made what could have been a stressful situation feel simple and manageable. The work was done neatly, without leaving any mess behind, and the results have been completely reliable. It is rare to find a company that combines speed, quality, and care for the customer the way Kairo Heating and Plumbing does, and I will definitely call on them again in the future.

A very mixed experience tl;dr they came on 2 days to fix two things. Day 1: Fine Day 2: They called me with a quote. I said I don't want the repair. Then they said there was a miscommunication and the guy did the work anyway. Now this guy wants to be paid. Very awkward situation. Day 1: The main issue I called for was that my boiler was not working. They said they would send someone to check it out. Then I called back and said I also have another issue: my tub is draining very slowly and my bathroom sink water tends to get very hot. Two plumbers come to check out the issue. It turns out the cold water valve is completely clogged with gunk and they need to replace it. They also need to replace the faucet (not quite sure why this also has to be done but w/ever) I say yes. They do the work. Kairo calls me with a quote. $600 to replace the valve and the faucet and snake the tub drain. They asks me if I want to go ahead with the work. They do the work. It's fine. They snaked the tub but said there's something big blocking it they can't get to without ripping out the ceiling of the unit below me. Fine. The sink works now. I'm satisfied. However they said they need someone else to come out for the main issue, which is the boiler. They would not charge me another service fee even if I said I don't want the repair tomorrow. I agree to this. Day 2: The boiler guy comes. Says I need to replace the switch and the sensor and clean rust off various parts. Kairo calls me with a quote. $680. I said no. I might replace the boiler in the future or just do mini splits. I explicitly ask if I need to go back downstairs and tell the guy and they say no they'll handle it. Then they call back 15 minutes later saying there's been a miscommunication and the guy already did the work. 1, I don't understand how the guy was able to do all that work in 15 minutes. If that was all it took was it worth $680? 2. I don't understand how the communication between the technician and Kairo was perfect when they were figuring out what the issue was and how much it would be to fix but then oddly the communication broke down after I said no to the repair. I said there is no way I am paying for a repair I didn't authorize. But when I went downstairs no one had communicated it to the technician who now is having a hard time understanding me. Ultimately I used google translate to explain that the landlord did NOT want to pay for the repairs and told the technician he could take his parts back. He shrugged his shoulders and then said ok fine then you don't have to pay me. I'll just leave the parts here so your boiler works. Anyway I felt bad for the technician so I tipped him for his time. Still not sure what exactly happened. I guess my boiler works now but this experience made me not want to work with this company again which is disappointing because I just want a reliable company to do maintenance on my boiler every year...

Alex was great, I had to replace my shower body. I called around, and no one was available until later on in the week. I got in touch with Alex, and he and his crew came out in a couple of hours to fix it . Alex not only repaired the pipe in record time but explained to me exactly how and why the pipe froze in the first place and what to do so that it would not happen again. I have several properties, and alex is the only plumber I will use from now on. He tells you everything you need to know about your plumbing issue, and then some. Good plumber.
