The pilot light for our new natural gas water heater was difficult to light and not staying on for much more than a day. After troubleshooting with the vendor Tech Support they eventually referred us to Amor Plumbing Friday afternoon 8/15. On Saturday 8/16 morning, Ted, Technician from Amor Plumbing, came out to further troubleshoot our new water heater. Ted was punctual, very knowledgeable and experienced. He quickly evaluated that there weren't any installation problems and based upon our operation descriptions he tested the gas valve controller; verified incoming gas pressure within tolerances while under different operating conditions, thermopile voltages at ambient and heated conditions, for sufficient air content for combustion and performed gas leak detection. He concluded the issue was with the valve controller, thoroughly explained his conclusions and replaced the controller along with thermopile/pilot light assembly and inspected the burner. There weren't any more issues with valve controller and pilot light light going out after the service! For any future water heater problems at our homes, I will call Amor Plumbing and ask for Ted.

I came here thru the Noritz website to have them check out a performance problem. And delivered more than expected, seeking out PG&E to look at my gas feed for the unit (making the call for me as well to get same day service and gas flow adjustments). And explained the system of how a tankless works before checking all points of use that can affect outputs. 110% recommend for professionalism, competency, timeliness, ease of scheduling and return of service to pricing. You really pay for what you get, because they put service and safety first.

Amor Plumbing took great care of my grandparents’ water heater. It started leaking and they were worried about the cost for the replacement water heater. Ted let us know there was still warranty coverage on the tank and contacted AO Smith and reported the leak and got a replacement authorization for the water heater. Our water heater broke down unexpectedly. I decided to purchase a new water heater on my Home Depot account, noticing they offered Rheem models. After researching installers familiar with Rheem products, who were also service providers (for future reference), I reached out to Amor Plumbing. They were accommodating and suggested upgrading to a larger unit than the existing 30-gallon one, considering the available space in the water heater closet and my family's needs. Amor Plumbing not only picked up the new water heater but also managed the installation and additional necessary fittings, restoring hot water for my family. The new AO smith water heater from Lowes was making buzz/humming noise everytime the main burner was on. The noise would go away after a few seconds to less tahn a minute. Contacted AO smith and they gave me a reference number to call local service provider. I called Amor plumbing and Tonya made a quick appointment for Ted to come. The noise was an known issue and got it fixed in less than 30 min. Ted is very expererienced and knowledgeable, and highly recommended.

Ted from Amor plumbing was top notch. He is a master of his craft, took time in explain things to me, and was very thoughtful in his approach. He knew his stuff and kept me informed during the repair.
