Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Hayward

Mr. Rooter returned to my home, today 10/28/25 at my request to do a hydro-jet cleaning the drain in my basement. Uriel arrived on time and explained to me the process involved. Due to the accumulation of matter over the years it was a bit more difficult and after using the cable (snake) to break through and then utilizing the hydro-jet he completely cleared my drain. He even had me go outside and i could hear the water and feel the air that was being emitted from the street trap/vent, the gismos that we all have in front of our homes at the curb, which indicated that my pipe was open and cleared. Having my drain hydro-jet cleaned was a new experience for this senior. My washing machine d rain hose empties directly into a pipe and not my sink as it had done prior to a change and not able to attach a lint collector on the drain hose. I asked Uriel if it would be to my benefit if I switch the drain hose to drain in the sink so that a lint collector would be attached, thereby avoid having lint accumulate in my pipes. He agreed that this would help. So -my recommendation for anyone who has drain issues or other plumbing issues call Mr. Rooter, they have friendly, courteous and helpful technicians who will resolve your problem. This senior citizen is very grateful for Uriel's excellent service.

The technician, Alex, is very competent, gets the results needed using his inspection tool, great at explaining what he does and what needs to be done to fix the sewer problem. I will ask for him to do the fix once we are ready to proceed.

Alfredo came out to my house to address a problem that I have. He was very kind and very helpful. He did not stop until he found what the problem was and I appreciated his help. I would definitely call them again.

They perform very thorough analysis of the problem. I really appreciate all the effort they put in finding the root cause as part of estimate quotes. My experience overall was great, just wished they could do the basic option like cleaning the drain using a snake at a bit reasonable price. I was quoted $350 just for a drain snake.

Excellent job in repairing our sump pump - after hours, in the dark, between the rains, during the holiday season. It was a difficult and fairly messy job and the plumber did it well and in a reasonable time frame and cleaned up afterward. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing job. (Their price was better than the competition and the plumber from Mr. Rooter understood the job better than two other plumbers who came out to look at the job and give me a quote. The first guy admitted he did not understand how to do the replacement. The second one gave a quote that was way off (too high) because he did not really understand the job - it came in at about twice what I actually ended up having to pay Mr. Rooter. I hesitate to call the other plumber a scammer and will charitably say he did not know his business that well despite bragging about his decades doing plumbing.)

We have an old house with old plumbing. The first plumbing company we called wanted to open the walls first. We then called Mr Rooter and Shayea Korin did a wonderful job replacing the faucet in our Landry room. In the Bathroom, Shayea diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and fixed the leak without opening the tiled wall. We are very pleased.
