Lawrence has fixed my oven, dryer and installed a new dishwasher. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. He diagnosed the issue with the oven and dyer very quickly and fixed the problems. He is also a plumber! I would absolutely use his company again and highly recommend him to others.

Lawrence was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. What I liked most was that he explained the issue with the LG refrigerator in technical terms and then explained/broke the issue down in more laymen terms, so that someone off the street who knew nothing about compressors, mother-boards, etc...would understand. A true technical analyst at heart. When asked for a recommendation on whether we should get it fixed or buy new; he gave both pros and cons. And when asked what brand he would recommend that would be a better bang for our dollar; he was honest and forthright. And when we did go shopping for a new refrigerator; we knew what questions to ask and what to look for. It was an ace in the hole knowing that his knowledge transfer gave us the confidence to look for what we wanted and not what the store was pushing as far as sales. Excellent job through and through. First rate all around Lawrence. Keep up the great work and service you provide and please stay in the Cedar Rapids area!!!

Mr Fidel is a true professional. I have used him twice,and each time he was there when he said he would be. His knowledge of appliances is excellent, his work is efficient, and WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM FOR ANY AND ALL of YOUR repairs.

We got a next day appointment when our washing machine broke down. Described the problem over the phone w/ model number and the repairman arrived with the correct parts and found and fixed the issue in about an hour. Great service at a great price. We will use this company again and again!

Lawrence installed a water heater for me. Love his work. He is knowledgeable and answers all your questions. He is efficient, professional, honest and has very reasonable rates. Will definitely recommend and use again.

Hired this company to help fix our dishwasher and fridge (ice maker). He said the dishwasher needed a new pump - replaced pump, but problem we hired him for was still happening. He equated it to heavy usage and suggested we run a ton of vinegar through it to clean it. Thought that was odd, but whatever, he had a good explanation and I went with it. Now for the ice maker - he said it needed to be replaced. He "replaced" it. It worked for about 2 weeks and then stopped working. We’ve called him multiple times to come and check it out to see if it was an install error or what happens next - given the short amount of time after install (and frankly light usage), would figure that he would come out and have some type of guarantee or at least a check-in for his work. Nope- at one point he even said he would come back, but never showed. Just a warning- he seems knowledgeable, but doesn’t seem to follow through on his work. I won’t hire this company again.

Our dryer was having issues. I called the manufacture, a big box store, and finally a local appliance store looking for a reputable referral and was told to contact Eastern Iowa Appliance Repair. I called, described the issue in one sentence, and Lawrence already knew the problem (which matched what I had read on the manufacture's help forum). He pre-ordered the part, called me two days later to set up a service time, and was out the next day to install it. Throughout this time he kept me informed by calling and texting updates. He is an expert! Note: The service area that comes up if you google this company might not be accurate (displays south to Linn Co line). I live in northern Johnson County and Lawrence mentioned he was coming from North Liberty when he arrived. I would recommend to call to see if you are in the service area.
