White Glove Plumbing - Heating & Air

White Glove installed my Champion HVAC unit two years ago. I have nothing but kind words to say. The ladies in the office were so helpful and kind. The crew that installed my unit were knowledgeable and efficient. It’s nice to have a company that responds so quickly. They come out every six months to service my unit to make sure it is working properly. They are very reasonable with their pricing. I truly recommend this company. 10/10.

Nick was amazing! He was thorough, polite and educated us on our HVAC unit and how the new digital thermostat works. He also showed us how the wiring could be more efficient with proper low and high heat connections. The unit had been incorrectly wired when originally installed. White Glove Plumbing is absolutely amazing! As a realtor, I am constantly asked for a referral for a great plumber, Tyler Pritchett is the man! He has taken excellent care of our clients and everyone is pleased with the job done. He is professional and shows up in time and gets things done in a timely manner. TLDR; White Glove gave me so much more than relief from the heat today and I immediately signed up for their maintenance program. Background: my AC had been dysfunctional for 2 weeks. I went through 3 other companies to get assessments/quotes before finding White Glove. 1st company looked at my unit and said nothing was wrong (I slept in 82 degree heat that night, so obviously the assessment was incorrect). 2nd company actually hooked up some kind of measurement system to the outdoor unit and said it was "freezing up" but will be fine if I just TURN IT OFF when the fan started going haywire (ah yes, I’ll just not have air at all when it gets too hot outside for me to run the system below 80 degrees…). But suggested if that didn’t work maybe it was a $1000 valve thing. Their sales person who came out the day after the tech said "oh it’s not a valve thing, it’s likely the coil" without even touching or looking at the unit. The 3rd company simply gave me a replacement quote. Enter: Nick from White Glove. He hooked up a more complex looking measurement system and proceeded to explain to me what the numbers I saw meant in correlation to the recommended operation numbers on the unit label. He even gave me a quick technical (and easy to understand) explanation of how an HVAC system actually works. The issue was too much refrigerant due from some kind of repair before I purchased this home!! (the pressure was maxing at 550psi which was triggering the emergency fan shutoff so my unit didn’t explode. btw the 2nd company I mentioned above were the ones who installed the system for the previous home owner and likely did the repair ‍♀️) Nick drained some refrigerant and showed me how it was causing the numbers to stabilize to the recommended amounts. Then he stayed for like 20 minutes longer to make sure the pressure remained stable and to make sure my house actually cooled AND checked all the temperatures manually to make sure the thermostat number matched. Nick’s repair plus the visit fee cost me LESS than an assessment fee alone from any of the other companies. Not only was Nick incredibly professional and knowledgeable, but he saved me thousands of dollars and another miserable night in the heat. The only way I’ll ever stop hiring White Glove for any HVAC or plumbing is if I leave Virginia altogether. Highly, highly recommend this company.

Nick Hix is amazing! Installed a new cold climate heat pump!!! It works like a charm and he is so knowledgeable and professional!! We have so much confidence in him and our home has never been so efficiently cooled!! Looking forward to a cozy winter with our new system!!

Guy came out checked everything out still have yet to get a receipt since they say email was entered in wrong on there part. Was supposed to be contacted by someone for next step still have yet to hear anything and that was last Wednesday when they came out. Almost seems like a scam since they had no problem charging my card but can't seem to handle anything else after. Yelp chat reached out guy said he called but left no Voicemail or anything to determine it was them even for a call back so hope other people have better luck
