Great service. I loved their customer service and fast response I called them with an emergency (hvac not working) my house was below 53F. I called them at 8am and by 10:30 problem was fixed. They also sent me pictures and and some info about the tech. Is good to know who is going to your house. Wayne was great! Considering it was "an emergency call" price was reasonable

s, when the system stopped working entirely again 2 weeks later, I reached out to a different company to have them come inspect my situation and give me a second opinion. IF YOU’RE IN THE MARKET FOR AN ENTIRELY NEW SYSTEM, "BOWERS HEATING AND COOLING" came out. Earl, their owner, was the most honest technician I’ve met and was willing to install a new unit for slightly over $8,000, with the same labor and parts warranty paramedics offers. This was a $4,000 discount from the Paramedics quote because he knew how much money I had already put into this and that had been taken from me (I say taken as Earl confirmed I never should have been instructed to purchase a compressor "if" I did have damage to the coils). While I was pretty much sold at this point of working with Bowers, I decided to have Paramedics come out one more time because of the money I had already put into them. Kevin came out again (July 1st) to inspect the system. This time he told me that the coils inside my home (all previously mentioned problems were with the outside unit/components) were broken and he could fix them for $1,300. At this point, I thought I was losing my mind. How is Paramedics finding a new problem every time they come out that they’ve never mentioned before. Im incredibly frustrated and so we reached out to a friend of a friend to come do an inspection. Within an hour of being there, he found the actual problem. It appeared a nail from the previous homeowners renovation had gone through the hvac closet’s ceiling and created a hole in the copper lines. Thus, all the refrigerant was leaking onto our attic floor as soon as the system was filled. It was at this same time he confirmed there was absolutely no problem with the inside coils that Kevin had told me only days previously would need to be removed and exchanged due to damage. Here we are now, 4 months later, and I’ve had zero issues in the summer with A/C and the fall with heat. My bill is lower per month than ever before and I was able to get the problem fixed with this other company entirely for $1,600. Paramedics took a lot from me. Not just my sanity as our home was 87 degrees and I have a young golden retriever, but a whole lot of money. Knowing what I know now, I never needed a new compressor or new coils. Even with Kevin recharging my system once for free, I still paid approximately $500 for refrigerant during the Initial compressor install which we know was immediately lost. While money comes and goes, this experience made me lose complete hope and respect in the two individuals I worked with and that I’ll never be able to repair. At our last visit, I have a vivid memory of Kevin telling me "well, if you’re going to be stupid, you have to be tough." This was in the context of me being frustrated with all the problems I’ve had and him implying if I would’ve been "smart" and got the new system from the get go, I would’ve saved myself a lot of trouble. Except I never needed a new unit, and this statement was just completely rude. For background, this was my first home. I bought the house on my own at 22 years old and was 23 when I started working with paramedics. I’ve worked incredibly hard for everything I’ve had in life and made the decision to buy a home after starting in my dream career as a registered nurse in hematology/oncology and now surgery. On top of Kevin being in my home and trying to make me feel small, stupid, and young, Brian also became problematic for my family as he started calling my 76 year old father asking why I wouldn’t respond to his texts and what I wanted to do moving forward (this was after I had already had another company come out and fix the line). He continued to try and negotiate with my father while my father is not the homeowner and had only reached out to them once before to set up the very first appointment to come out and inspect the unit as I was very busy with work and hadn’t had the time to sit down and find out which company I wanted to reach out to first.

David did an amazing job! He communicated and made things easy to understand. He also offered a few options that we best for our home. Which I completely agree! I loved get the results of our furnace passing inspection and what those numbers were and there functions. Great job and will use you again!

Not sure why you keep asking me for a review. You quoted me 1k per toilet for 5, so a total of 5k. Brought down a little after your "sales" technique didn't work. Your sales person had no idea what he was talking about. Which is both sad and concerning. Round vs Elongated toilets is a basic concept. Don't worry. As I have installed 3 elongated toilets from Lowes for 200 a piece which I was told can only be round from your company. Took 2.5 hours and I'll do other 2 next weekend. 600 vs 3k Also, lowes offered to install for 199 each. So have no idea how you have such ridiculous rates. Good luck and stop texting/emailing me for reviews. Weird that you haven't called me a single time for a follow up about actually doing the work I needed. Attaching receipt. These toilets are also better than what was offered.

From start to finish, the entire process was impressively efficient. I was able to set the appointment quickly, and Kevin showed up right on time. He immediately identified the issue, left to pick up the needed part, and returned the same day to complete the repair. Excellent service all around!

Aaron was very knowledgeable, prompt, very nice person. They replaced an ejector pump that went out over the weekend, causing my floor drain in the basement to back up. I called several plumbers in the area and Aaron promptly called me back within 15 minutes. Set an appointment came out to the house. Diagnosed the problem. Replaced the pump all in the same day. Great customer service and communication the entire way. Highly recommend Aaron and this company. I will be doing all my plumbing business with them going forward. It really was a great experience.

*edit: pt 2 of this review which is key will be posted by Ian Juillerat* Good morning everyone! I’ve unfortunately sat on this review for months to ensure I was just in making it, but I now know it’s the right time and I hope you read this review in its entirety if you plan on working with paramedics. My experience with paramedics started May 22nd when they came out to my home for the first time. I called the company and set up an appointment because my heat pump had completely stopped running at this point and we had no A/C after struggling off and on during the winter with keeping the house heated. My first visit was with their technician Kevin. He was extremely friendly and after doing an inspection, he told me my compressor was out and I would need to replace it. For those that are unaware, this is an extremely expensive part of the system and he quoted me for $4,500. Kevin explained to myself and my mother, who had stopped by to hear the diagnosis, that I had two options. I could pay for the new compressor and get "5-7 more years" out of the current system, or I could buy a new unit entirely and get closer to "10-12 years". I was interested in hearing both estimates at this point due to being unsure quite how long I would choose to live at this address. Thus, a salesman, Brian, was sent out to my house the same day, directly after Kevin, to give me a secondary quote that came out to approximately $12,000. After deliberation for about a week, I decided to fix the compressor issue as it aligned more with my timeline and financials. (May 30th) Eight days after the initial inspection, Kevin came out to my home again and did an install of the new part. Unfortunately, about 3 days after the compressor was installed, our heat pump system completely stopped working again and we found the outside unit completely iced over. For two days we tried keeping the system off, letting the ice melt, and changing the air filters in the home. Of course, these were no solution, made no improvement, and we scheduled an appointment for paramedics to come out again 9 days after the install of the new compressor (June 9th). When Kevin came back out again, he was less friendly this time. He claimed we knew this had the potential to happen as he told us our outside coils were also leaking. This was the first time I had heard of this "issue." He explained to me that on the day of installation, he told my boyfriend who stays with me (not a homeowner) that the coils looked damaged and he didn’t know if the system would hold its refrigerant. While Kevin documented that my boyfriend told him to "proceed anyway," my boyfriend recalls a different story in which Kevin did come inside to tell him about the coils appearing slightly damaged, but when my boyfriend asked them what does this mean and how do we proceed, Kevin responded "well let me see what I can do" and returned outside. Some time later Kevin came back in and said he’s done. My boyfriend responded and asked if it was all good to which Kevin responded yes. For this reason and no further mention of the coils or the potential for problems, my boyfriend assumed what Kevin initially mentioned as potentially concerning did not appear to be an issue at all once the compressor was placed. All of this being new Information to me and not knowing what to do next, Kevin agreed to clean out and recharge my system for free as a temporary solution to get my system started again while I decided how I was going to proceed. Kevin of course told me that my better option now would be to purchase the new system Brian previously quoted me for. While this seemed like the next step I had to take, Paramedics was unwilling to give any discount on the $4,400 compressor I had bought that only worked/was used for 72 hours. After much dispute, they told me they could give me a $1,000 discount on the new system and that would be it.
