Oakland Rooter Plumbing

I called Oakland rooter on a Thursday and they had someone to my house Friday morning (it was not a plumbing emergency). Eddie was on time, courteous, and fixed our leaking sink within 30 minutes. He explained to me in detail what was wrong and what he did to resolve it. I would use this company again and was very happy with Eddie’s service.

Jose was fantastic. I called Oakland Rooter Plumbing Co. with a faucet issue at 9:30 AM, got a 1–3 PM appointment, and Jose called at 12:15 saying he could come early. By 1:30 the job was done. Just had a wonderful experience with Jose M. from Oakland Rooter. We had a backup in our shower and toilet after the washer drained. It hadn't happened before and the backup relieved itself, but we were still concerned that there was a clog/block somewhere downpipe of the shower. Jose came out and checked the cleanout pipe and recreated the same situation. Ran the shower, flushed the toilet while draining the washer. He showed me the cleanout and how there wasn't an apparent blockage anymore. All pipes were draining. He showed me how to check for a block if it were to happen again. If water isnt getting to the cleanout, you will know there is a block and that snaking is needed. He explained it using an analogy of veins and arteries and it made a lot of sense. I am not well-versed in plumbing and having a plumber explain how household plumbing works in a very easy to understand manner and without judgement made the whole thing a true learning experience. I can now explain to the family how we can all check to see if we have an issue with our drains and where it might be located now that Jose explained how/where to look. Jose and Oakland Rooter made what was a nerve-wracking situation into a stress-free one. I called at 9am to for the initial service and Jose was at the house at noon. Amazing customer service from phone to arrival to service.

We had a bad plugged drain in the bathroom, and my husband, a great 'amateur' plumber who has always fixed our plumbing problems, tried to fix it for two days. We finally called Oakland Rooter, and they came out right away, in about three hours. They totally diagnosed the problem and fixed it right there, and it runs better than it ever has. Wilson was so thorough and kind in explaining the cause, preventative measures, and his solution. The charge for all this, including the trip here, was under $100.0,0, which is unheard of. We finally have a plumber we will always call whenever we have a problem. Highly recommend to anyone.
