They sent a technician out quickly to unplug my drain. Maq was our tech and he explained everything that he was doing and kept us informed of what was needed along the way. He was very nice and personable. If this is reflective of the work they do consistently, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. It was a flat fee for an hour and some change BUT plumbing is expensive and I’m blessed to have it.
I had a clogged kitchen sink and a garbage disposal that was regurgitating water into the sink. Couldn’t use DW. I was getting ready for Thanksgiving in 2 days. Maq came within an hour and cleared the drain with the snake and showed me the black sludge that was stuck to it when he pulled it back out. Mark also showed up to look at my basement water line as well as my sewer line. They explained that with my old pipes, I need a clean out valve installed in both pipes so they could do a better job with cleaning the clogged line and also run a camera to see what’s happening. Proceeded with getting ready for Thanksgiving and then the sink regurgitated again the next morning. Called and again they came quickly and again ran the snake through the pipes. They didn’t charge me for that call. We were able to use the DW for all the pots and dishes at dinner and it hasn’t happened again. But I clearly need to follow up after the holidays. These 2 guys were really great. Given the family holiday dinner I was putting on, I was so grateful for the quick responses. As for the price, I think everything these days is expensive. I don’t know if it was reasonable or not.
Ryan Clark was on time, courteous, and texted me at arrival as requested so I could put my dog out. He resolved my issue quickly and explained everything to me in layman's terms so that I could understand what he did. I was very impressed with the online scheduling and the prompt service. I highly recommend. Thank you, Ryan!
Really nice guy named Mag came out today and unclogged both our upstairs toilet and kitchen sink. He did a great job, but what was even more valuable was the advice he gave moving forward for how to put enzymes down the sink, what not to put down the disposal, and how our very old toilet will always be prone to clogs because of the design. Now we feel like we have a plan in place. He was also great with our dogs, and we felt safe with him in our home as a queer family. We’ve recently had people out from Roto-Rooter on three occasions (unrelated… it’s an old house) and we’ve been very happy with all of them.
Great service. They came out the same day and gave me quote without requiring a service fee. Corey was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The price was reasonable and the work well done. I will definitely call Roto-Rooter and ask for Corey for my plumbing needs in the future.
This is the first time I've ever had to use Roto-Rooter, and they saved us from a blocked sewer line, causing sewage to backup into our downstairs shower. I can't believe how quickly they were able to get a technician to our home. Someone was here within two hours from the time I placed the call. The technician was extremely knowledgeable, very professional, friendly , and efficient. Top notch all around. He had our line cleaned out in less than 30 minutes. We have more work ahead, since our situation involves root intrusion, but we are beyond grateful at the quick resolution of the immediate crisis. Thank you so much!
To potential customers wanting their service for outside work: I cannot stress this enough ... GET QUOTES FROM OTHER PLUMBING COMPANIES BEFORE AGREEING TO ANY WORK OR SIGNING ANYTHING!!! Because this company is enormous and has overwhelmingly positive google reviews, I just assumed they would be reasonable. They gave me a pretty large estimate range, and I guess because my face didn't panic, the estimator (Leo) decided to "go for it", and I made the mistake of believing him when he said the estimate was typical, and that I should expect that price from anyone. It was an emergency situation, and I didn't feel like I could spend any time waiting for other companies to come, I just needed it taken care of asap. They dug a channel 16 inches wide, 7 feet long and 30 inches deep. A 2-person team dug by hand, and were on the job about 5 hours, and a single licensed plumber who was on the job for maybe 3 hours, including running somewhere to get some supplies. They replaced a several feet of service line between my meter and house. They did excellent work. But there is no way in ANY world that I should have been charged over $1000 per foot of pipe. Roto Rooter could have covered their expenses and still made profit at one-fourth of what they charged me. Their price was completely absurd, and I didn't truly realize it until after I had signed the contract to have the work done. Yeah, it's my fault for not doing my due diligence ... but seriously, what kind of heartless clown gouges me for double or triple or quadruple what the job should actually cost?? This company has gotten it's last dollar from me, EVER. I learned a brutally expensive lesson. $2000 would have been fair. $3500 would have been uncomfortable, but I wouldn't have felt violated. I paid over $7000 for 13 man-hours and $100 worth of supplies. Absurd. "Buyer Beware" is a gross understatement in this case.
