We had lightening hit our house in the middle of the night and Progressive was the ONLY company that stated they had 24/7 emergency services to answer our call and put us in touch with a technician. After talking with the technician we were able to wait until morning to have someone come out. As they promised Chad came out to our home first thing the next morning and talked us through the best solution. He was professional, kind, and took an economic approach to resolution. We are very grateful for the response this company provided in what was a very stressful time for us.
Marcus came on time in fact earlier than expected. He was fast, professional, friendly and treated the jobs and me with respect. I can't speak highly enough of him. Cleaned up after himself and the cost was fair, lower than expected. Highly recommend this company!
My technician Chris was AWESOME. He was able to install 3 toilets quickly & gave me tips on how to maintain the new toilets so they last! Unfortunately the ladies who answer the phone and coordinate schedules for appointments are absolutely awful. Dealing with Allie, Cameron and Chanel was the most frustrating experience I have ever encountered. They are incredibly rude and inconsiderate of their customers. After they cancelled my first appointment I had to call back SIX times before they got back to me to coordinate a new installation. When I would speak on the phone with them they were condescending and unprofessional, it is clear they have zero customer service training. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone! Save yourself the time & stress and call anyone else for your plumbing needs!!
Dealing with this company was a complete nightmare. They are incompetent, unprofessional and liars. They do not even deserve one star. To start, they installed the wrong unit! That alone shows their incompetence. When I began having problems with the air and had them come back out, they acknowledged that they did install the unit incorrectly. Stayed in a hotel while waiting for the correct unit to be ordered and installed. Then months later, no cold air again, they came back out and said the compressor should have been changed when the inside unit was changed, but it wasn’t. They changed the compressor and it worked for a few months, then no cold air again. They came out and said there was a leak in the compressor. They fixed the leak and once again months later, no cold air. This time they said the labor warranty had expired and they no longer service my area. I asked for a manager and spoke to Alex and also his manager Ken. Ken said he would send his best guy Justin out and we agreed that if the current problem was related to the leak that was fixed last year while under warranty, then they would take care of it. If it was something else, I would pay out of pocket. The appointment was set for Monday and Justin called Friday evening trying to cancel but it was too last minute to reschedule. He seemed to have an attitude and said he would cancel his meeting and just come. He did come and seemed to still have an attitude. After hooking up his devices to the compressor all he did was say that the problem was not a leak, but that the compressor was tripping the breaker. He said to call someone local to fix it. I told him that Ken said he would fix the problem either way. It was just a matter of who was paying. He said he was going to call Ken. Well he called Ken and left without saying anything. Ken called and said Justin would not be able to complete the job because there is a part that was needed that he didn’t have and it would be better for someone in my area to fix it. Ken lied and said he would email me the notes of what the problem was and what part was needed. Never received an email and never heard another word. Extremely unprofessional. Also, they never registered the second unit, so the serial number on my warranty is for the old unit that they replaced. I would suggest finding a competent HVAC company if you’re looking.
Progressive Service Company installed our new gas range and they did an excellent job. Emily was prompt in contacting me to schedule a time and they were very flexible. The morning of the install I was contacted by the install team and they informed me that they were going to inspect the new range at Lowes and would call me if there were any issues. There were no issues. They installed the new range and took away the old one. They also turned on the new range to burn off factory oils and then gave us a tip to not cook our favorite meals until after we had backed some bread to absorb the remaining residue and not give our meals a strange taste. A great tip that I would not have thought of.
Shane was very professional and nice. Service was quickly scheduled. For my particular small toilet issue I would have been better off hiring a handyman or (as I most likely will do) further youtube video watching. The only services I was offered was a complete reset of the toilet or a new toilet replacement. I understand the toilet is old but wish he could have just replaced the two parts currently not working to get us through a couple more years. Perhaps better trouble shooting during scheduling could have prevented his long drive to my house and my $60
Progressive never disappoints. We’ve used them since becoming homeowners and have always had a great experience. Their Field Techs go above and beyond and the preventative maintenance is very affordable.
