Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Sonoma County

I have had a progressive leak in my waterline outside for a few months now. I was able to diagnose where on my own but needed professional help. I got an appointment within 24 hrs. Andrew arrived with a truck full of gear. I had exposed where the leak was. We went through a process of what if's; this way I knew the various outcomes ahead of time. Sal came by to check on progress and see if there was anything he could do to help. It was going to need backfill, so he went and got material. Later in the day supervisor Carl came to the job site and helped Andrew finish up. Everyone was professional, honest, answered my questions, allowed me to take pictures so I knew exactly where everything was and what the repair looked like afterwards. During the job, a neighbor came by with an inquiry. They very politely offered a business card and went back to the job at hand. As a small business owner I appreciate their attention to detail, honesty in their quotes as well as quotes for possible future work. Thanks to the entire Mr Rooter team! Matthew

Mr. rooter contacted me and made things correct fix my hot water. I appreciate the fact they corrected their mistake. Carl was very professional. Also a special thanks to JH really helped expedite the situation. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! a crew of 4 guys and 2 trucks spent all day (8 hours) to chip a hole in the concrete. The person who seemed to be in charge sat on his butt and smoked a vape all day. It was obvious they did not have the proper tools to do the job and told me bad news you will not have hot water till tomorrow. That was six days ago. Now they want me to pressure my HOA to let them subcontract to a company that is capable. Three guys standing and watching one guy aimlessly chip away at concrete to milk the clock. Also, the tool they plugged into my patio outlet fried the outlet. They acted like it was no big deal and shrugged when I asked what was plugged into it.

Chris Hammack was stellar. He listened, he Analyzed, he collected evidence, fixed what might have seemed benign and provided his diagnosis. He even took the time to educate and helped me understand something’s I knew nothing about sump pumps and septic tanks and leash lines. Over and beyond!! He was polite and kind. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with this company given that I just moved to Sonoma from SF. Thank you for sending Chris!! Nothing was overtly wrong with my sump pump. Wait and watch. But having Chris here to verify it, was priceless.

I had an absolutely outstanding experience with Mr. Rooter Plumbing, and I can’t say enough good things about Adem and Joey! My appointment was scheduled for the same day, and they even arrived early! (an impressive show of professionalism and reliability). Both Adem and Joey were courteous, respectful, and clearly experts at what they do. They quickly identified my plumbing issues, explained everything clearly, and fixed the problem efficiently and effectively. When they finished, they left absolutely no mess behind, everything was spotless. On top of that, they were so friendly that they even made best friends with my dog! This was truly a 10/10 experience, and I will absolutely use Mr. Rooter Plumbing again. I highly recommend Adem and Joey to anyone looking for prompt, professional, and friendly plumbing service.

Carl came out to camera inspect our sewer line in Santa Rosa after we'd been having ongoing issues. He found the problem right away and walked us through several options to repair it. The response time was extremely fast, communication was clear and the whole experience was easy and straightforward. Truly the best plumber we have worked with. Highly recommend Mr. Rooter!

Very friendly and competent, but also unreasonably pricey - which I ultimately paid due to needing to leave the property soon, not really having time to find other estimates. I called on Sunday morning for a water filter that was slowly leaking and a main line ball valve that appeared to have failed at our house I have been caretaking for my ill parents. Mr. Rooter was able to book me for 9am on Monday, but then they called 8am Monday morning and asked if 12:30pm would be okay. When I said no and that I needed to get on the road by then, they sent Carl, a clean-cut professional gentleman who was very nice and pleasant, who arrived at 9:30ish. Carl spent a few minutes estimating the job, but unfortunately didn't have his work truck or tools, so he left and said he would be sending another technician. The technician who arrived right at 1pm was fast and efficient: turning off the water to the house, cutting the main water line in two places, adding two 90 degree 1 inch elbow fittings, about 1 foot of new copper pipe, and unscrewing and removing the old and non-functioning water filter. Cost for the job was $1300.76! The whole repair took little more than an hour start to finish. I've been racking my brain trying to understand and justify the pricing once I saw how quickly the job was completed. Probably $60-ish in off the shelf materials and the remaining $1,240 was one hour fifteen minutes tops labor, disposal of the water filter, and 40 minutes travel time? They also provided a "plumbing checkup" sheet for the kitchen where a bunch of items "passed," but they never inspected the kitchen sink or any interior sinks. Again, nice enough guys and appreciative of the service but what a truly shocking price. I can hear what you're saying - "You agreed to pay it" - true, but wow. Just wow.

David M. is always amazing. He helped me two years ago when I had a back-up in my laundry room. This year he helped me when I had a leak (which turned out to be from irrigation system). We talked about replacing the main water line (which was in desperate need of being replaced) and getting two new toilets. Not only is the work done amazing, David is so personable and friendly. I really feel connected with him and safe. I couldn't ask for a better experience.
