Tom Sondergeld Plumbing

My sister’s bathroom sink needed to have an "S" trap installed because of the stench. We agreed to the price that was quoted over the phone. When the "Plummer" they sent arrived, he miraculously did not have that particular part. So we were charged for his transit time to get a part that he, conviently, does not carry on his "Work Truck". The pricing was then increased by an hour of service. The "Plummer" was in our house exactly 20 minutes. 10 minutes to determine the issue and 10 minutes for the repair. We were charged for 1 1/2 hours. I feel we should not have to pay transit time for a Trap that should be on every plumber’s work vehicle.

We had a commercial water heater installed. They had a really big and inconvenient job with issues from flooding. No elevator, cramped workspace, a lot of stuff to move. I was impressed that the team was so nice and kept a great attitude through the entire day. My staff commented on it multiple times also. We’ve never had that experience with a vendor, it’s usually the opposite like we’re a big inconvenience in the face of an emergency. We were just really happy with it. Have been really solid so far.

I recently used this company for repairs on my older home. I can’t say enough good things about these guys every contact from scheduling an estimate, the estimate, and repairs - EVERYONE I had contact with was wonderful, super nice and very experienced. I expected some issues to arise just from having an older home but they knew what to do and where to look for ‘those’ parts. I would recommend them highly and will use again and again. Special thanks to Josh-I hope your boss knows how great you and your team are!

We had a Friday afternoon 5:00 p.m. plumbing disaster. Shower. toilets, and washer stopped draining. We called and Josh sent Keith right out to our house. In just 25 minutes he arrived, quickly diagnosed our problem and went to work. In under an hour the clog (which was outside our house) was removed and everything was working again! Weekend crisis averted! We did pay for overtime, but it was much less than the cost of a hotel on a weekend with the farm machinery show in town; and so much better than a weekend without plumbing. We will definitely be lifelong Sondergeld clients! Thanks Josh and Keith!

I recently had a need for a plumber to help with a kitchen sink leak. The care and concern from this group was amazing. I could not be there during the repairs. The technician Kenneth called me a couple times to update me on the progress. I also received a call from the service manager. What a great experience!!!! I highly recommend Tom Sondergeld Plumbing!!!

Let's just start this with I just got billed over $1000 to clear a drain!!!! Yes you read that right and that's after the "took care of the bill." Keep in mind this is a residential drain and they didn't need to dig or cut into anything. This is absurd but it gets worse, the drain they were supposed to clear, leads to my dishwasher and they seen it needed a new hose SO I HAD THEM REPLACE IT. Now it can't/won't drain and will only throws an error code. Taking it further they just blame the appliance, take no responsibility, and then try and convince you that they are an amazing company and did an awesome job. THEY EVEN PUT ON MY RECIEPT "EVERYTHING WORKING AS IT SHOULD"........ DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!

I originally called Meyer Plumbing in Brooks. Did not realize that Meyer Plumbing was no longer in business and Tom Sondergeld Plumbing had taken over the business. This new company is extremely over priced! Service call $250 includes first hour of service. The second hour is $175. These prices do not include the use of any equipment. So to snake a drain between a washer machine and the A/C unit which is the same room with a drain cost $575. I HIGHLY recommend looking else where. I deal with many plumbing companies having multiple properties and this is the worst I have ever experienced! It’s my fault for not realizing I was not dealing with Meyer Plumbing who was a very honest and reliable company. I can not say the same about Tom Sondergeld Plumbing.
