Elite Rooter Tampa

Going to leave a lengthy but to the point review. I just purchased my first home. What should be a great moment, has been overshadowed by lies, incompetence, and a lack of professionalism. I’ve already spent more on the deposits for this work than my down payment on my home. I’m not going to name drop for their sake but from the onsite supervisor to techs; incompetent and unprofessional. Over promise and under deliver should be the slogan. Biggest issue I had was a major water leak situation due to improper connection of pipes….I mean they’re a plumbing company and couldn’t do what they are hired for?!!!!! On top of that, the tech onsite bold face lied to me and said "it seems there’s a hole on the roof and the rain last night, came into the home" leaving us to believe we have to now pay for the clean up and a new roof. After an inspection from a roofer determined that was a lie, the tech admitted he lied to cover up another tech’s incompetence. Ceiling loss, insulation loss, drywall loss, electricity affected, damaged personal items, etc… spacing of all the bathroom fixtures, not what was discussed with onsite supervisor. Everything is so close but we refuse to have them fix it JUST TO GET THEM OUT. Trash and debris was never picked up as they continued to work, despite having a full trailer brought to my property for the debris. Trailer sat outside for a week and after 3 times of having asked the debris to be cleaned up, it was. Techs constantly disagreeing with eachother and questioning the choices by the previous tech, just screamed confidence to me. I was so sure, we choose the right company; **sarcasm. Never had anyone follow up or go over any completed projects. No camera video proof of said replaced pipes, no follow up unless I contacted first, nothing unless we initiated a complaint. There were times we swung by unannounced and would see things that we are not sure would have been rectified had we not stopped by and check up on our home. While the onsite supervisor was response upon me reaching out, he was never present to oversee this $20k + job. We do not feel that it was worth it and surely wish we hadn’t gone with elite rooter. This will most likely turn into a legal matter due too many inconsistencies and damages.

Drew and David came out to my house today and were great! Professional and Detailed. They helped me with my Septic issue and made recommendations to me for my tank and leach field. This company is honest and caring and these two reps were totally top notch! I'm so impressed with them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to everyone. Thank you Elite Rooter for giving me direction and help.

David came to my house to evaluate our water heater as it had failed. Upon arrival he quickly evaluated the problem, found parts and gave us a quote that beat the competitor my landlord sent over. Thanks David, your professionalism was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend.

We had a loose toilet and reached out to Elite Rooter for help. Ricardo and Jordan responded quickly and professionally. They diagnosed the issue and promptly fixed the flange and seal. They were courteous, efficient, and clearly knew what they were doing. We couldn’t be happier with the service and would definitely recommend Elite Rooter to anyone in need of plumbing help!

Recommend to read their contract carefully, I hired them to unclog a sink and fix a leak (this was my original request in writing), the price was somewhat reasonable, they unclogged the drain, but a leak was still there. They refused to finish the job, started waiving the proposal I signed on their iPad, so I had to pay extra $350 to have a usable vanity. By the way they also charge 3.5% extra if you pay with a card (and ofc no one mentioned this but it was in the proposal I signed). Seems they did the job fine though.

Highly recommend Elite Rooter. We had Walter Gar who was fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure his work was perfect and we were satisfied with the results. We will definitely be using Walter and Elite Rooter again.

Yesterday, I scheduled from 12pm to 1pm for a hot water leak somewhere in my home. I then, called to make sure they got my request. I spoken to a lady she confirmed that they got it, and technician will call me 20 minutes before he arrive and the technician will checkout what going on an he will give me an estimate about what it will cost he do the job, and I can except or decline, and no travel fee either. Well, your technician arrived around 5:30pm and his next replied was " let me pulled up the contract for you to sign and pay $450 for he start anything ". I said the lady said I don't have to pay anything because you guys do free estimate and no travel fee. His next replied was " we don't do anything for free, and my manager told me to charge you this price, then say what the lady name that told you this?". I told him he can leave cause you guys said something totally different. Your website and advertising is totally false, your technician said you guys don't anything for free.
