Knocked on my door despite having a sign to not knock on the door because I have a little one sleeping. The guy was nice though and I did need to get an estimate for roof repairs for my insurance, so I talked to him to make sure they would work with my insurance and scheduled one. They ended up coming for an estimate but said they couldn't give me an actual estimate for me to send to my insurance. They were pushing for me to sign then for a discount from $30k to $24k for a new roof (The other bid I had was for repairs only but was for $1k, which in all fairness I don't think is accurate), but couldn't give me an actual estimate to submit to insurance. This makes me think their pricing probably isn't reasonable if they can't give you an actual written estimate. All they gave me was a "Investment Review" that was handwritten and said I couldn't keep it, I could only take a picture of it. They also made me sit through a long presentation about how great their work and the materials they use are even though I told the estimator I didn't really care and just wanted to repair it. The kid who did the estimate was very nice, but they lied about being willing to give me an estimate to work with my insurance, which now set me back weeks in getting my roof repaired because everyone is booked out due to the storm that damaged my roof also damaging many other roofs in the area. The estimator at the end told me that they only do full roof replacements, and that was why he couldn't give me an estimate for my insurance company. I would recommend more training and transparency or honesty, not sure where the problem lies since I was clear before booking the estimate what I needed and why. Left me disappointed and wouldn't recommend working with this company. Maybe their actual work is great, but hard to say when they make it difficult to work with them. They also might just be slammed because there are so many roofs that need repair, but again, this doesn't excuse either misleading or at best wasting the time of customers.
Recently in Los Angeles, we had heavy rain. I heard leaking sounds from the bedroom and I remembered Premier Renovations from my neighbor because they recently changed their roof too. So I decided to contact them and spoke with dealt with Craig Carson. He was super friendly and scheduled an appointment for an inspection for the next day. He was on time and very polite. He inspected our roof, gave us a quote and offered us one of the best services I have heard of. The guarantee of his work is phenomenal, everything was done and said according to our agreement. We also had the option to finance our roof for 1 year! We applied and in minutes, got approved! His crew is very clean and respective of my property. Our roof is so beautiful and it changed the look of our entire house, we are so happy we decided to go with Premier Renovations! We appreciate all of the hard work and will continue recommending you and your company. Thanks guys!
Complete scam of a business. Sent their minions to our house to ask if we needed a new roof, since we are doing construction I showed them we need one soon and I would love another quote. They would not come out to quote the roof without all "titleholder for the property being present". I'm assuming they aren't interested in the roofing job at all, but just trying to peddle bad deals on solar panels. So many good companies in the area, avoid these guys like the plague, or like 2020 Covid.
Got contacted by them after a wind storm. the inspector that came out to quote a roof repair didn't even finish and instead left saying he had to see a different customer (read: someone more important) and that the office would be in touch. Never heard back from them. I know roofers can be busy after wind events but its been 3 days and not a call or email back. Went with a different more responsive company instead.
Over a year ago I had a gentleman from this company stop at me door 1 year ago to ask about my roof. He said they are triple A rated with the BBB and recommended by Angie's list. I was coached to tell to who comes out that I am the primary decision maker (which I am). Then I was given his phone to talk to his scheduler and confirm my information. When I got back to my desk to look at reviews of this company I found terrible reviews on Yelp and other sites. On Google you can see they are faking their reviews. At the time there was about 16 reviews all 3 months old, all random names, all 5 stars, and each account has this as the first and ONLY company they have reviewed. Those fake reviews are still there. The next day I called and canceled the appointment and told them why I was canceling. That evening at 6pm at night when it was dark out Andrew shows up to do a quote. Why are do a quote in the dark and why did you show up when I called and canceled? Andrew you said you were going to talk to Craig fix the reviews. I have you on video saying this, why are they still there? I was not planning to post this in hopes they would wise up. Now a year later they are calling me again asking if I am still interested. I told the first guy (Doni?) to take me off the list and explained the reasoning. Now a month after that I have Nevin calling me. Nevin don't forget to update your records as we discussed as Andrew, Craig, Cam and Doni have still not done it. This company is not accredited by the BBB. They say they have been in business for 27 years but according to the BBB it's only 5 years. This company lies, makes fake reviews and does not take no for answer.
Premier Renovations installed a new cool roof on my home. The workers were on time, professional, and they cleaned up every day. I would recommend this company to everyone. Thank you for doing a wonderful job!
I will not do business with this company after they came to my door today. I have 2 no soliciting signs. One of which says "If I don't know you are coming and you're not family or friend, DO NOT DISTURB." It also says I'm chronically ill. He claimed it wasn't soliciting because he "wasn't selling anything." He was offering a "free" estimate in order to get me to buy their services! That is solicitation. Whether money was involved now or in the future, he was absolutely offering their services for a fee. And I would think that basic decency dictates that if a person goes so far as to hang a sign saying they are chronically ill asking people not to disturb, a human being would show compassion not to disturb them and try to sell them a roof! (The sign also says I can't afford it unless he pays for my medical bills.)
