My first impression of Jonathan Kent was a smiling friendly guy. He was my second quote and gave me a price that beat my first quote before I told him what my first quote was. I told him I was getting one more quote and he told me if I had any questions even about other quotes to just give him a call. He’s always been responsive, on time, honest and an over all good person vs a lot of other companies in the construction business. I’d highly recommend him to help keep a roof over your head!

My wife and I had an emergency situation at our new house and called Kent roofing for immediate help. Jonathan was over early the next morning (Sunday) to consult and game plan as heavy rain was coming. I cannot express his passion for helping his customers enough. We didn’t even use him for the roof as we were contracted with someone else already but he made it a priority to help me make sure it was getting done right and at a fair price. We then hired him to do our gutters, facia and a bulletproof tarping on the side that needed extra attention by the other contractor. His team was out Monday and knocked out perfect work in impressive time for an incredible price. Communication, professionalism and workmanship was as good as it gets. His team led by Vann was by far the best of three contractors we had out that day and follow up was above and beyond ensuring our endeavor went seamlessly for the entire project beyond just his own scope. I also was not asked to pay a dime until the work was completed and even then no pressure or rush.

Kent Roofing saved the day for us, again! When our low pitched tar and gravel roof developed a heavy leak, Kent Roofing carefully inspected the roof, and gave us advice on options. We ultimately decided to replace the roof. Kent then securely tarped the roof until Spring when the roof was replaced with white TPO which should keep the building cooler during the summer months. Kent guided us throughout the process, and we could not be happier!

A great company to work with. I had a very difficult and complex situation, with a little bit of everything (replacing tar and gravel with membrane, clay tiles, gutter repair and stucco patching). Jonathan and his crew (including Karla in the office) were wonderful to work with through the awkward job, and it turned out perfectly. Best of all, Kent works extremely well with my chosen solar provider, Earth Electric, and the two companies coordinated all the work perfectly. I highly recommend both of them, separately or together! No regrets whatsoever and totally satisfied with their work.

The service we received from Kent Roofing was absolutely stellar. We have used them for two projects. Jonathon's (who is the owner) roofing expertise is exceptional, and he was able to solve our leaking roof issue! He spent a lot of time with me explaining the issue and his plan of action, which gave me comfort. I appreciated that he came back quickly to our property and tried again when the first attempt was not successful. I also appreciated the honesty and integrity displayed by Jonathon and his father. It is rare to find a company these days that takes pride in craftsmanship like the owners of Kent Roofing. They treated my roof as if it were their own.

We have used Kent Roofing twice. Communication is easy, they are transparent (we have a metal tile roof, which is challenging when it comes to repairs/maintenance), timely, and performed high-quality work. In the most recent case, we had a single tile blown down in a wind storm. Dave came by to check it out for an estimate, and just took care of it on the spot. Excellent to work with.

Once again, Kent Roofing has done an excellent job. The employees were prompt professional, and did an exceptional job. They cleaned up after themselves. I have always had good experiences with Kent Roofing.
