Chris Witt responded to my quote request quickly, provided a high quality proposal that was easy to understand and navigate, and was readily available on multiple occasions when I reached out with questions. His skilled crew showed up on time and were professional throughout the project. They delivered everything as promised and left my property as clean as it was when they started. You just don't get this kind of service from larger contracting companies, and they made my decision to go with a local company one that I do not regret. It's not often that the company you want to go with turns out to actually be the least expensive quote. I reached out to 6 different roofers in my area, got quotes from 4 of them. Walter D Witt was not insignificantly cheaper than the rest and provided excellent service. Two of the competing quotes I received were just numbers on a piece of paper with no details and a higher price, one of the quotes was very detailed and I'd say on par with Walter D Witt in regards to how broken down it was with lots of info on products and options. However they were priced higher, with a lower end shingle. Walter quoted me exactly where I wanted to be. Had a great selection, and answered every single question I had. Even helped me select the right color trim to go with my shingle. I spoke with Kelsey at their office multiple times and she was always willing to answer questions where she could or get the person that knew. The job did take a day longer than I expected which caused a little kerfuffle but we worked it out. I love the way the roof looks and appreciate the peace of mind it gives us being in an older as-is fixer upper house. I have already recommended them to two other friends of the family that are looking to get roof jobs done. Thank you Chris, Kelsey, and all of those that helped make it happen.

Great quote, hardworking team, and great service. I initially received 3 quotes for a new roof, gutters, and gutter guards and Walter D Witt was very competitively priced with a great product and warranty. Communication from Chris was forthright and he was quick to respond to questions and inquiries. The teams worked hard and did great work. I highly recommend them.

Walter D. Witt Roofing did a fantastic job replacing out 25 year old roof. Very quick to respond to our initial inquiry. We sat down with the team and noted we wanted our skylights roofed over and stated there was an intermittent leak in loft. We stopped by the office and selected our roofing Owen’s Corning Peppercorn was what we selected. Selected some but not all of the other options available. We’re informed up front that if they needed to replace plywood would be an extra cost. Part of the team came out early on the date agreed to. Dropped off supplies, placed coverings over outside air conditioner and over shrubs around the house. By the time they were done the entire crew came out and started on the work. They only stopped working for a lunch break. Tremendous work ethic. Completed the roof and gutter work by end of day two. On day three a couple of them came by around 8 am to complete cleanup, use a magnet to pick up any stray nails etc… Left us with about 10 three foot lengths of shingles and advise us to store them in the crawl space. Came back later in the afternoon to pick up the trailer carrying all the trash. Highly recommended due to professionalism, work ethic, and quality of their work.
