Shield Masonry and Chicago Roofing Consultants collaborated to build a new roof over my existing patio. I received a few quotes and they were the only ones who showed up on time and with the roofer and contractor to take measurements, talk through what I wanted, and provide a detailed quote when they said they would. They were able to start the work quickly and stayed in constant communication with me throughout the project which took just under two weeks. The workers showed up every day on time and kept the work area clean. The team worked hard to deliver a quality product and they definitely delivered. I can finally sit outside on sunny/rainy days and enjoy the patio. The work was well done and reasonably priced. I would absolutely work with them again in the future.

There was a slight delay for coming out, due to external circumstances, however I'm happy with the work Shield Masonry performed. Said crew came out and identified some issues, in our roof, and quickly resolved it. Afterwards they did an excellent job of cleaning up the work-area. Overall I'd use them again and would recommend. Work performed: replacing the roofing on our addition, replacing two windows on the side of our addition.

Sam promptly scheduled an appointment to look at the project, which was to completely tear out and redo our sunken patio. We wanted to get rid of all the old loose tile on the walls and floor, and replace it with brick walls (to match the building) and a concrete floor. We discussed the options, and he got back to us quickly with a very reasonable quote. The demo alone was a big job that required removing all tile, prepping the walls, breaking up and removing the old concrete, and disassembling the iron railing. He provided good communication throughout the process and did a good job of coordinating the concrete, masonry and welding teams during demo and construction. Everybody who worked for him on the project was friendly, professional, and did very good work. The final results turned out great and exceeded our expectations.
