DTE Roofing

I had a great experience with DTE and would definitely recommend them to others. We worked closely with Mitchell, a co-owner, throughout, and he was always prompt and helpful. Our home was built in the early 1940's and has many quirks that are now out of code. Our old roof was 20+ years old and had just worn out. We did a full roof replacement (including adding OSB sheets across the entire house, since we did not have such a layer), we upgraded the roof's ventilation, and we replaced gutters. DTE did timely and high quality work, and I was especially pleased that they addressed all manner of small but important details at the end. Repairing some chipped stucco, spot painting, and addressing a few areas of roofing that needed extra adhesive. These last details were all taken care of by pros. A painter showed up to paint. A stucco expert showed up for the stucco repair (particularly important, since stucco is a tricky art!). Their bid was not the lowest, but it was the one that I had the most confidence in. Mitchell took the time to explain everything, and I learned a lot about roofs! Before accepting their bid, I checked with friends who had recent (especially bad) roofing experiences and also with friends in the building industry. Their input made me confident that DTE's bid was the best option. We now have a great looking and well constructed roof, thanks to Mitchell and DTE.

She did a great job of providing an initial consultation, reviewing options and pricing, communicating timelines and next steps and, finally, inspections and warranty info. From start to finish DTE was with us all the way. From working with our insurance company, no easy task, to helping us pick out our roofing materials and our siding materials. They didn’t just want to replace our roof and siding, which had been damaged in a hail storm, but they wanted us to have the best looking house on the block! Andrew, Donovan and Mitchell were here for us every step in the process. Andrew made sure things were completed according to code and that our insurance company responded to our requests. Great experience! DTE Roofing did a fantastic job on our roof replacement. They also repaired a part of our siding. They were great communicators, completed the work timely, and the owners and workers were friendly and professional. I highly recommend DTE for roofing and siding!

While we have not replaced our roof with DTE yet, they have performed multiple "checks" to ensure everything is in good shape from the chimney, to the stucco, pipe gaskets and of course roof. Andrew is always very thorough and even fixes minor nail pops and things at no charge. Andrew did find a few minor maintenance issues which he repaired the next day at very competitive prices. He stays in touch year after year and customer service is second to none. I was expecting him to tell me I need a new roof when I knew I didn't, but nope, he just recommended a few repair actions that were well documented with pictures so I could see exactly what he was explaining the issue was. DTE has earned my trust through and through. Highly recommend.

DTE was an excellent company to work with for my new roof. We, tried working with my insurance company, but unfortunately, that didn't work. DTE was with me every step, trying to help and make sure the right thing was done. When it was clear there the insurance company wasn't going to budge, due to the professionalism shown by DTE, I still went with them for my new roof. Once the paperwork was finalized, they were quick to get me scheduled. The roofers did an excellent job. They took great care of my yard and the space they used. The followup after the job was excellent. The roof looks great and my house feels more comfortable. I can't say enough about Andrew, Donovan, and Mitchell and the job that DTE did.
