The roofing team did an excellent job, and the quality of their work really shows. The solar system and battery setup were equally impressive. Special thanks to Jesus, the electrician, whose work on the FranklinWH battery was flawless. Between his expertise and Rich’s oversight, everything runs perfectly — I now have a fully functional battery system and no utility bill! It’s rare to find a company that delivers on every promise, but this team truly exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for anyone considering a roof, solar, or energy storage project. How I found Raneri & Long Roofing and Solar, it started a conversation with one of my neighbors and they told me to check out Raneri & long Roofing and Solar. They had their roof completed by them and was very happy how it turned out. Mike is very knowledgeable in his craft with a lot of experience (very thorough with his explanation, I like that!) . A local family business in East County. He and his team are vey professional and super friendly, most of all very respectful! I hired them to replace new the roof and new gutter. I LOVE how it turned out. It made such a huge difference, fresh new look and more modern looking with the tiles I chose. If you ever looking for someone to work on your roof, gutter, solar, I strongly you to contact Mike. You won't be disappointed! Would NOT recommend. Low-Quality Work and distrust. We had a negative experience with Raneri & Long. After researching companies and receiving several quotes we settled on Raneri & Long. Everything was fine until the work started. Attempts to cut corners were made by installing a new roof over dry-rotted and damaged wood—even though the estimate clearly stated that replacing damaged wood was mandatory. Communication was lacking during the installation and there was not onsite project manager as stated. I personally inspected the work each day identifying several discrepancies with the work. This was chalked up to a "language barrier" and a "miscommunication". The dry rotted and damaged wood was ultimately replaced, but it was because I inspected the installation job myself. To make the experience worse, the roof leaked in the garage during the last rainstorms a few weeks ago. They came and made repairs, however, the leak should have never happened on a brand new install. The gutter installation was shoddy and sloppy. There are several scratches and globs of sealant which I was told "the bigger the blob the better the job". When expressing our concerns with the owner we were met with childish push back and told "you’ve never made a mistake?" Well not a $30k mistake. I strongly advise anyone considering Raneri & Long to think twice. The work is shoddy and low quality.

From David, their professional easy going salesman to the entire team, we are thrilled with our new roof, solar and rain gutters! Richard is very knowledgeable about solar and made it easy to understand. I highly recommend them! From start to finish! Well done!

Ranieri & Long Roofing and Solar did an outstanding job repairing our leaky roof and completing a full re-roof after issues caused by poor workmanship from another solar company. They finished the job on time and reinstalled our solar system, which now works better than it ever did before! That alone tells me the original installer hadn’t hooked things up properly. We couldn’t be happier with the entire team at Ranieri & Long — their professionalism, communication, and quality of work are truly top-notch. Highly recommend!

Excellent job at a fair price. Communication was great from beginning to end. The guy leading the crew doing the work was very helpful answering all questions I had. It hasn't been rain tested much yet but as of today all is good and I strongly recommend them if you are in need of rood replacement.

From the roof to solar, gutters to patio cover, we have been very pleased with their work and professionalism. They worked closely with my stucco contractor and were always on time and ready. They asked for feedback and all changes were made to 100% satisfaction. They even gave me an awesome referral for my A/C unit and helped work out a payment plan for my patio cover. Amazing company that I would refer to anyone.
