Pro Select Roofing

We had some wood rot on the 2x4s and 2x6s which frame our chimney. The chimney went from ground level to nearly 30' high. I called ProSelect after finding them as a local Keller business and asked for them to come inspect and give a bid. Scott Garrett, the owner, personally came out and inspected what I was looking to have done. We talked through the work. Everything was transparent, easy to understand, and clear on what was going to be fixed. I received a bid for the work just a day or so later. The process was simple and I felt very confident working with Scott. Also the pricing was more inline with what I had estimated given my perceived labor/material costs. Other bids I had received, inflated the work substantially because of the chimney height. ProSelect didn't do this. It was estimated as a two day job and 99% was done in two days. The head guy of the crew came back on Saturday morning (day 3) to paint some areas that had thicker caulking and he wanted to give extra time to fully dry. He wanted to ensure it was all done right. All the work was done very well. The entire process end-to-end exceeded all expectations. I love supporting family owned businesses locally to Keller who do great work. ProSelect Roofing is who I'll call in the future for any outdoor repairs/work I have on my home.

Scott and Sterling came to my parent's house to evaluate a defective roof/patio and extensive interior water damage. They were extremely professional, thoughtful and prompt. Scott took time to consider multiple options and carefully guide us through the repair and insurance process. He was very accommodating to our specific family dynamic and we really appreciated his ability to navigate a complicated situation. I would absolutely recommend Pro Select Roofing to anyone in the DFW area. It's a relief to have found such a trustworthy contractor, who kept our best interest at the forefront.

I highly recommend Pro Select Roofing! Scott was amazing from his initial inspection to the completion of our new roof. Scott was very timely and his communication was excellent. Unlike our previous roofer who installed construction grade shingles, Scott went with a upgraded quality 30 year shingle. His crew was excellent, efficient, and friendly and they did a very thorough job cleaning up at the end of the install. Scott also was able to get me some great pricing on some quality solar screens. I will certainly use Pro Select Roofing for any future roofing needs as well as recommend him to family and friends. Thank You Scott!!!

I had Pro Select Roofing fix roof damage that had occurred in the storm of March 2, 2023. We had several areas of shingles blown off our roof by the high winds. They were able to send someone out on March 4 to check the damage, and got a repair estimate to us the next week. After we got HOA approval they were able to quickly get us on their schedule. They fixed all of the damaged areas, and then checked the rest of the roof for any other damage. The work was completed at a very acceptable price. I have worked with the owner over the years for several projects, and always been happy with the work and service.

I’m not one to leave reviews. In fact, this is my first time leaving a negative review on here. I know what I asked them to do isn’t their primary business, but I feel it’s important for other people to know who they’re getting in bed with when they choose to do business with Pro Select Roofing, particularly the owner Scott Garrett. I have a shed in my backyard that’s about 20 years old. In one spot, the decking was rotting, so I removed the siding and replaced the decking. I trashed the bottom piece of siding because it wasn’t usable, and I kept the three pieces above it in case I needed to nail them back up. I was having a hard time matching the siding since I work during the week, so I thought I would drop a piece off with a contractor who could source it from lumber yards that are closed on weekends. I called Pro Select Roofing and spoke with a lady who said that’s something they could do. I drove up to their office on a Saturday and dropped a usable piece off with Scott’s dad, who was the only person there at the time. He was very pleasant, and he said they would see what they could do and give me my piece back if they weren’t able to match it. Scott called me a few days later to get specifics. He explained this isn’t something they normally do and says he’s having a tough time matching it. I told him I would pay whatever markup they wanted to charge, and he said he’d keep looking and get back to me. Fast forward two weeks. I still haven’t heard anything, so I get in touch with Scott this past Wednesday to ask for my piece of siding back. He says that he hasn’t been able to find it because there are a lot of people in and out of his shop, and he’d check with his guys to see if they knew anything. 8:30 this morning (Friday) I called for an update. It’s still missing. I explained my frustration since I had been told the piece would be returned to me if they weren’t able to match it. He responds that his dad doesn’t work for the company and suggests I "chalk it up as a lesson learned not to leave my stuff with someone if I want it back." At this point I’m so mad I can hardly see straight, so I give him the ultimatum to find it by the end of the day or I’ll post a negative review on Google and Better Business Bureau, to which he responds, "Good, can’t wait to read it." So here we are. Thanks for the lesson, Scott. Scott Garrett does not take responsibility for his mistakes. He never offered to make things right, and the way he treated me was unacceptable, especially from a business owner.

I recently hired Pro Select Roofing because after I talked to Scott, the owner I immediately felt comfortable. He took the time to respond to my many questions in a timely manner. He gave me a written estimate with lots of options depending on which type of shingle, etc that I wanted to use. Once we agreed on a price it never changed. He did exactly what he said he would do and it was done very professionally. And they cleaned up everything very well. Our new roof looks amazing. His crew did an outstanding job. If I ever need any roofing work done in the future, Pro Select Roofing will be my first call. Highly recommend.

Scott and his company are top notch. They were fast, efficient and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend using this company for all your roofing needs. We only needed a small area patched, but they treated us like we were investing thousands of dollars to get a new roof. Just like a lot of reputable small businesses, there's a high level of trust and integrity that shine through when you can work directly with the owner.
