Recently had my roof inspected and replaced by Rock City Roofing and only have positive things to say! Chad was INCREDIBLE and truly went above and beyond to let me know my options and work with my insurance company to get me a completely new roof! He is incredibly knowledgeable and I truly felt like he had my best interests at heart. He explained every step of the process to me, as this is my first time dealing with a roof replacement. And the actual install was smooth, quick and high quality. I couldn't recommend this company more, and ask for Chad!!!

Update 8/16/25 - Change to 2 Star Review I'm insulted by Matt's comment stating that the invoice was updated immediately, that they attempted to contact me several times through multiple modes of communication, and that they will be contacting me to make this right. 1. This company has my email, phone number, and mailing address. Only William has ever called me. I have no other forms of communication regarding this review and my negative experience. They have managed to mail me the invoice and no problem cashing the check. 2. See picture showing the invoice stating the completion date of the project is March 25, 2025 and the invoice was updated July 15, 2025. That's 112 days - not immediately. 3. I still haven't heard from Matt. They cashed my check, wrote an insulting reply to my review, and never bothered to pick up the phone. I feel compelled to make this a 1-star review. Original 3 star review: Frustrating Experience with Office Staff I had a mixed experience with Rock City Roofing. Working with William during the roof replacement was the best part. He was professional, responsive, and the roof itself appears to have been done correctly. I appreciated his communication throughout the project, and everything seemed to be completed as promised. Unfortunately, my positive impression ended after the work was finished. Three months after the roof was completed, and after I had already paid a final invoice labeled "Balance Due," I received a revised invoice for over $1,000 in additional charges. These charges were never presented in a change order or any formal documentation, and I was never informed that another invoice would be sent later. The original final invoice even listed the replacement of a specific number of decking sheets, which made me believe that all work, including any unexpected repairs, had already been included. I understand that additional repairs may come up during a project. However, it is completely unprofessional for the office staff to wait three months to notify me of a significant change in the bill. That kind of delay, especially without any communication, is unacceptable. I am not in a position to absorb surprise charges long after the project has been completed and paid for, and this lack of transparency has left a very negative impression. In summary, the workmanship seems solid and William was excellent to work with. But the office’s handling of billing and communication was very disappointing. I recommend future customers ask for detailed written estimates and make sure any changes are documented clearly and in real time.

Rock City Roofing does high quality work with first class service! I can’t say enough good things about Daniel Allen who showed up on my doorstep informing me that his business was repairing hail damage in my neighborhood and offered to check my roof. I thought what could it hurt as I hadn’t planned to inspect my roof anytime soon so at least I would know what kind of condition my roof was in. It wasn’t but 20 minutes later Daniel was back at my door informing me that I had hail damage on my roof. He showed me photos of the damage and proceeded to inform me it was significant enough that it should be replaced. Well it didn’t take long for this likable hardworking go-getter sales rep to win me over as he proceeded to assist me in the process of initiating the repair. I wasn’t committed to necessarily use his roofing company for the roof replacement at the time, but as I moved on in the process of making my insurance claim Daniel was a welcomed resource of knowledge and helpful advice. I had my insurance company adjuster confirm what Daniel had discovered and the claim was quickly approved, including the code upgrades that Daniel indicated my insurance company would also approve. There were a couple of "hiccups" along the way, but again Daniel assured me that everything would be fine, as it was every step of the way. I highly recommend Daniel Allen and did so with my friends and neighbors, all of whom have since secured his excellent services. I am so impressed with Rock City Roofing it was easy to enthusiastically endorse their work. From start to finish they do it right. They use high quality Certainteed products and their installation crews are hard-working and efficient. Daniel was in touch with me throughout the whole process and his informed expertise made for a great experience that would give anyone peace of mind on a major home repair.

Rock city has help us with our roof twice now. They are always friendly and helpful and willingly to do whatever the customer needs to solve the problem. Their reps are always available for questions or updates and have great communication.
