I am very happy with the job Tom did for me, he installed tubular solar light in my new house and help me with other home improvement things. I was impressed how honest and professional he is. Fast, quality, hassle free work! Also I loved how he respect clients. Per my business I dealing with a lot of contractors and I can tell that Mr Tom Torres is rare to find. Will definitely use his services again for my projects.

Tom is an honest, sincere, trustworthy man. He does a great job with very reasonable rates. I've had him out to my home on two different occasions. Leaks right after strong rains. He knew what he was doing and fixed the problem the first time. One of the best experiences I've had with any contractor. He is true to his word. I recommend him fully to anyone with roofing needs.

Excellent roofing work. Tom takes a lot of pride in his work and does things properly, which is hard to find in a contractor. I would highly recommend him for a repair or re-roof. His pricing is reasonable for a roofer who does quality work. Also, Tom holds B and C39 licenses, so he is licensed as a general contractor and roofer, which is an added bonus.

I live in a luxury property in a gated community in South Laguna Beach. I contacted Sunpower Solar by Précis to install solar panels after Tesla declined me on the basis that their policy is not to install panels on a flat roof. . My home is only 16 years old, but Solar Précis responded that they could work with my flat roof, and would try to place as many panels possible on my roof. Feeling skeptical, I decided to give Sunpower by Precis a chance . Sunpower by Precis’ engineers came out to vett my roof, and mandated that I needed to repair my Mediterranean tile roof They first sent one of their preferred roofers whose price was exorbitant, and never replied to me to negotiate . On my own , I consulted a second roofer, who was cheaper than the first estimate , but it contained "ifs" if he needed to raise the price. Finally, Solar Précis sent me Tom Torres who struck me at first as a straight guy though I had to prod him for over a week to email me his quote, so that he could fix my roof to go to the next step to have Precis install my solar panels. Tom gave me his quote and I promptly sent it to Precis . Precis gave me a trumped up excuse that their project manager never received my signed approval of Tom’s quote, and to call the project Mgr for more information. The truth is that Tom never provided me with a formal signature form . It took two days for Tom to send me the formal approval form . I signed it promptly and sent the signed form to Tom and Precis. Three months passed no word from Solar Precis OR Tom. Altogether it has been 8 months since I signed a contract for Sunpower by Precis to install solar panels on my roof. Since it had been three months since I heard from Precis or Tom Torres of New Millennium, I called Precis. To my shock Sunpower for Precis cancelled my order without calling me or providing me a written cancellation, preferably a DocuSign cancellation. Okay, I can live without solar, but I wanted Tom to replace my roof as 3 roofers, including, Tom stated that my roof needed to be replaced. I called Tom to advise him that Sunpower by Precis cancelled my solar installation without a formal written notice. Tom claimed that he knew nothing about Sunpower by Precis cancelling my solar installation order. Strange as he is a contracted worker for Sunpower by Precis. I still wanted to verify if Tom would replace my roof given that Precis cancelled my order. In the interim I asked Precis to email me a DocuSign cancellation form. Precis only sent me an email stating that they cancelled my solar installation order. I volunteered to send Tom the written email from Précis’ VP, which he stated was fine, but he preferred the Precis VP to email him directly proof of the cancellation of my solar installation —BECAUSE HE TOLD ME OVER THE PHONE THAT HE GETS A LOT OF BUSINESS FROM SUNPOWER BY PRECIS. Tom indicated that he wanted my business, but he needed to see the cancellation that Precis sent me, and would prefer the VP to send him personally the cancellation of my solar order. After a couple of days receiving Sunpower by Precis’ email cancellation of my Solar order, I called Tom to see if he received Precis ‘ cancellation of my order, which I forwarded to him . It has been over a week I never heard from Tom. he promised that he wanted to do the job for me I thought Tom was a sincere guy, but he is in bed with Sunpower by Precis, and when he found out they cancelled me he wanted no part of me . I had no altercation with Tom and in fact praised him to Solar Precis . Look at his reviews date back to 9 years ago. There are no new reviews on Google, except one last year. . Why ? He does not need any business, he does not have to hustle for customers as Sunpower for Precis supplies him the work. You lied to me, Tom, and if things do not work out from your sugar daddy Precis lose my number

Tom came out to my home and gave me the best price out of all my estimates. I wanted a contractor not a sales person. Tom was honest, prompt and most important knowledgeable, he found my leak and fixed it right away. I've already recommended him to a few of my friends who have already used him. By coincidence all very detailed positive reviews were added in the same time frame. Tom wrote a reply to my original review. I tried calling him to discuss the matter like professionals after I read it but he did not answer my call. He is dishonest and unreliable. You have been on my roof many times trying to complete the same job unsuccessfully. I have never gotten on my roof. I have never put up Christmas lights. Tom claims that I break tiles when I put up Christmas lights but the leak is in the middle of the house. Does what he claim add up? Why would i walk in the center of the roof? My home is two stories. I do not own a ladder big enough to get on my roof. I am not comfortable getting up there. That is why i paid YOU. My home has never had Christmas lights and NEVER will. Why lie Tom? You know its not true. Instead of completing the job, Tom ignored my calls. He has a poor attitude and simply did not do what I paid him to do. It is a fact that is supported by undeniable evidence. Anyone is welcomed to contact me with any questions. The fact that Tom replied with a lie really got under my skin. My home is my proof. The facts support my claims.

Tom was prompt, frank and professional as I reached out to him to help make a repair to the roof of my condominium. My condo association had been underfunded for some years now (due to recent foreclosures) so I had to take action on the repairs on my own initiative. He was transparent with his pricing and repair process. On top of that, he provided a personal quality assurance for the job completed. When there was a possibility of a leak one year later, he came back to take a look and made a minor repair at no cost to me! (It had nothing to do with the roof repair but a clogging with the drainage.) I would strongly recommend Tom's services for roofing repairs.
