Odyssey Home Remodeling

We had a good and bad experience with Odyssey roofing. When you make a huge investment like a new roof, you expect the best. We chose odyssey because of the good reviews and the sales presentation and price point. I agreed to pay 1/2 deposit before project and 1/2 deposit after project. The project started and I noticed odyssey didn’t collect the first deposit/charge my card until the end of the project (no harm to me, just reflects poor organization). The day of the roof tear off and new roof, the roofing team leader (Edgar) called me to let me know he wouldn’t be there today but his dad was going to be there. That didn’t make me feel good because team leader was the only person who I could communicate with (language barrier wise) and so when I called to ask for updates he wasn’t even at the house, just giving second hand updates from his team. I just purchased this house and a previous owner had put some tar on the edge of the roof/siding so on the tear off there was a lot of damage (see picture), which, I don’t know anything about roofing and didn’t expect this damage and no one informed me this would happen. No one even told me the damage that was happening during the tear off. I came home from work and had to call Edgar the roof leader (who wasn’t on site) and he assured me that his dad was going to Home Depot to purchase some sealant (for the part by the stone) and then some paint to fix the siding. They did a quick fix at the end of the night and it still wasn’t looking very good, sealant was dripping onto the roof and the paint job did not look finished. I complained to Edgar and then he just ghosted me and stopped responding, said his team did the job. So then I reached out to our initial sales contact and he reached out to Debbie (project coordinator/scheduler?) and she said "we don’t do siding" and I said well the roofers said they were going to make it look better!! So she said oh I’ll send them back out. The reason they couldn’t do flash siding is because it’s aluminum siding and it would dent the siding. Edgar did come back out another day and DID make the siding look a lot better with smoothing out the area and adding another layer of paint. By the end of the job we felt a lot better about the end result and we understand the limitations of the old, aluminum siding. BUT the bad taste in our mouth is the poor communication, ghosting, replying "we don’t do siding" instead of ensuring the roofers finished the job to the best of their ability. No disclosure or communication during the tear off of the damage being done. 10k is a lot of money for us as first time home buyers and it wasn’t the 5 star experience I was hoping for.

I had my roof and siding replaced with Odyssey and could not be happier. Aaron was amazing explaining all of my options and took the time to make sure I understood what work was actually being done. The installation went smoothly and everything looks fantastic. Highly recommend!

We had our roof done by Odyssey Home Remodeling and Roofing on November 15 of 2023. We had three different companies come out to give us an estimate, but always leaned towards Odyssey Home Remodeling and Roofing because of their overall care. The sales representative John was great. He was very knowledgeable and up-to-date on all the Roofing products. John was very professional and overall nice person and seem to care on what we needed done. He came out several times to go over things that we had additional questions about. Even after the job was complete, John came out to make sure we were satisfied with the quality of service their team provided. Debbie the office manager/team leader made sure that her team did the job to our Satisfaction.The team she sent out was very professional and respectful of our property and cared about the job being done to our satisfaction. We would highly recommend Odyssey Home Remodeling and roofing to everyone, you will not be disappointed. Truly appreciate and what to say Thank you to John the sales representative, Debbie and her team for make all this possible for us. We love our new roof, it looks amazing. Met with Steve the owner of the company today January 11, 2024.. He came out to make sure we were satisfied with the job his company had done. I really like that in a company. It shows me how much they care about the job they did and their customers being happy. Great job Odyssey Home Remodeling and Roofing you are #1 in our book.

Joe Sceglio gave me an estimate on siding and gutters for my garage. He was very knowledgeable and spent time with me on everything from colors, materials, and installation specifics. The next step was to meet with Mike, supervisor of construction to go over all phases of the install. Mike arranged to complete the job while accommodating my schedule. He was very patient and sympathetic to my situation. Greg was our installer. He did a professional job, working with me on all details and concerns. Hugo came in to finish the job with gutters. They were quick and efficient. A great job overall and a good clean-up. Communication was key, all promises were kept. Highly recommend others to use this company in the future. A seamless process from start to finish!

Aaron Berthet was our estimator for replacing the roof on our house. He was very knowledgeable and patient. He explained every step of the installation process. He followed through on every promise he made. The installation was perfect. The installers for the roof and gutters did a great job. They cleaned up afterward perfectly. We are very happy with the end result--roof and gutters. We would be happy to recommend Odyssey Home Remodeling to our neighbors.

After a few hail storms ,our roof and siding started showing wear. Our insurance company wouldn't help so we paid out of pocket. Odyssey gave us a great price for quality materials and service. Our roof and siding were done along with trim, soffits, and fascia. Our home looks brand new now. Workers were quick and everything looks well done. It's been a few months and we've had no issues.

Odyssey Home Remodeling did an amazing job replacing our siding. We chose Charter Oak siding in riviera dusk with mission oak stone. The quality of work is outstanding with lots of detailed finishes. The process was easy and communication was great, thank you Steve and Mike. The crew was respectful to our property, cleaned up every day after work, and was very professional. Thank you Odyssey!
