Lovett & Lovett Roofing

I hired Lovett & Lovett to redo 2 sections of my flat roof to fix some leaks Jordan, the owner came out to look at the job. I showed him a problem involving the drainage opening & we discussed lowering the opening to fix the problem. Someone named Kyle texted me once the job started, to tell me he was in charge The entire time that the work was being done, I never saw Jorden or Kyle. Apparently, Manuel, who’s English isn’t very good was "in charge" & required no supervision. Except that he was never informed of the drainage issue. After the job was completed, the drainage was even worse than before. All of the layers of waterproofing sealant made it even more difficult for water to drain. The bucket of water I dumped onto the deck now drained in 2 different directions, away from the drain. Now, Jordan came by to look at the deck. When I dumped another bucket of water out so he could see the problem, He defended the work & tried his hardest to get me to back down. I had to INSIST, 4-5 times that this was something we discussed & this outcome was unacceptable before he finally agreed to send Manuel back to fix the problem Unfortunately, most of the fix involved scraping off the waterproofing around to drain to eliminate some of the blockade, in addition to building up the corner with a few more layers of roofing material. Whether or not this area is still waterproof is now something I am now very concerned about. Jordan is now pretending that the fix I wanted would have required resloping the entire deck. This is not true. The drain threshold needed to be lowered 1/2" . But none of this was communicated to Manuel. Secondly- I was informed mid-job that the old stucco was how in bad shape & that they needed to remove a larger amount than previously planned. I approved the change & agreed to pay for the extra labor to get the best outcome The pictures accompanying this review shows where they strapped the new header to crumbling +/or missing stucco. When I brought this to Kyle & Jorden’s attention they told me that they could give me a referral to a painter to fix this, now that the header was attached to this mess. & scraping it off would be more difficult & create a gap. Why this wasn’t included in the original job when I approve the additional stucco repair baffles me My final text from Jorden- "If something was wrong with the job I would have taken responsibility. I will not redo the roof just because of an unsubstantiated opinion." I would not recommend working with them, even if the rest of the job was done correctly. ZERO oversite, combined with having to stand up to Jorden’s attempt to intimidate me? I would not work with them again if I need to fix other sections of the roof in the future.

Jordon Lovett came out personally to conduct a thorough inspection for our estimate, which was very competitive compared to others we received. Throughout the process, the team was prompt and communicative, keeping us informed every step of the way. Kyle, the project manager, was especially responsive—he went above and beyond to resolve an issue when our preferred roofing material was unexpectedly out of stock. The final result looks fantastic, and we’re very happy with the quality and professionalism from start to finish.

Fantastic company! The quality of the work was exceptional. I've never known a roofing company to have such skilled carpenters. My roof has tall, steep pitches that got decorative trim installed on the faces of the peaks at the roof line. This was a challenge to install and they did a fantastic job while working safely. The crew was courteous and professional. Throughout the days they made sure the gate was kept closed so that my dogs were always safe in the yard. They cleaned up at the end of each day making sure no trash was left in the yard. I don't often give 5 stars, if 6 was an option I would give them.

Lovett & Lovett just put a new roof on our 118-year-old home. Their team (and company) did a great job for us. We have nothing but good things to report, loved their Foreman Jesus and all the rest of their folks. Their price was good. They sent us good, hard workers who were persistent, careful and did excellent work.

I have used Lovett and Lovett for work on two different roofs and I am surprised that anyone would give this company anything less than a stellar, perfect review. When a company provides excellence, I want to let others know. I had invited four other roofing companies to help me diagnose a problem leak before finding Jordon Lovett - from the internet, by fluke/out of desperation. I called on a Sunday and unexpectedly got hold of his wife who listened to my worried story and told me she thought Jordon might be able to help because roofing is his thing - he seems to have spent his whole life working in and around roofing. Long story short, we waited a week or two for him to come out (he is a busy, professional person). He took a look at the problem area, immediately diagnosed it and later did a flawless restoration on the part of the roof that was damaged. Recently I had another roof that needed work done (water was coming in through the fireplace) and I did not consider calling anyone else. Again he took a thorough look. For each job he makes a comprehensive write up of the work that needs to be done, with photos of the property and supplies expenditure projected etc. - a thorough and very detailed estimate (and reasonably priced by my calculation). It may take him a few weeks to get to a particular job -possibly because Lovett and Lovett are real professionals. If you want the best, it stands to reason that they will be in demand. I am very impressed - both with the work done and the extreme professionalism of the company. There was no waiting around for people who did not show up and no weird, hazy bids. When we need a new roof we will go to Lovett and Lovett.

Stay away from this company. Jordon (the owner) seemed to be a great person when he stopped by for an estimate. Same thing for receiving a quote, very responsive and to the point. After signing the contract though Jordon shows his real personality. Disrespectful, dismissive and unresponsive. Expect any agreements in the contract to be broken. Expect additional charges for unused material. Expect delays in the start of the job beyond what agreed by contract. The job and the material used by this company is low quality. The material cracked at approximately 1 month from installation. The rushed, careless and poor installation caused the material to separate from the eaves creating space for water leaks. Stay away from this poor managed business. Save your money and your energy. Ridiculous that you are saying I am a bot. Unfortunately, I was one of your customers.

Good company but too busy for me use for emergency repair.
