Taken Advantage of My husband and I recently purchased an older home. Though the home was older, the roof had recently been replaced by Andrews Roofing in 2020 by the previous owner. The first heavy rain we had, the roof began to leak in the kitchen. Somewhat surprised that the roof leaked, we contacted Andrews Roofing and explained we had a transferred warranty and that the roof was leaking. After having to call them three times Andrews Roofing sent a representative out and said the leaks were caused by a pipe that wasn't sealed properly and that a plumber would usually be responsible for fixing it. He "did us a favor" by sealing the pipe. This was a "good" fix until it rained again. At the next heavy rain we had not one but three leaks! We again contacted Andrews Roofing and were dismissed as not being responsible. It took my husband and myself going to the business to have it addressed. Steve from Andrews Roofing said it would be about 6 weeks until they could get to us. We waited 10 weeks before we contacted them, giving them the benefit of the doubt. At this point we had been dealing with these leaks for four months. They finally came out and fixed not one, but three leaks on the roof ... all due to their faulty installation. Upon leaving we inquired about having the kitchen ceiling repaired since there were over five major cracks and several water spots, the repairman said it was their responsibility to conduct the repair. When we called Steve we were told the warranty didn't cover damage from their leaking roof and to contact our insurance company. Working with Andrews Roofing has been a nightmare. We were dismissed because of our age. When confronted about the ceiling, they refused to repair it. This company cannot be trusted to stand by their work. And the fact that they aloud water to continue to come through the roof and cause more damage for four months is absolutely ridiculous. In the end, they were extremely unresponsive, dismissive and totally unprofessional.

Great family business! My father had a roof put on and it looks great, we had a small correction that needed to be done, 1 phone call to office, I believe it was Joe, and he made sure a great employee (Chris Wilkinson) came out, took a look and had the repair done quickly. My father was very impressed and was happy Chris came back out as he was there during the install. Chris also spoke with my father to make sure he was happy. I highly recommend this company, Chris and Joe, if you want to work with good honest people! Thank you Andrews for taking care of my family.

My roof was damaged in March of 2022 and my insurance company approved the lowest offer being Andrews Roofing. The roof got completed on May 31 2022. On July 10 2022 I woke up to the ceiling leaking right at the heat stack. I went onto the roof and to my dismay I saw the flashing around the heat stack had not been replaced or "appropriately flashed into the new roof" as the contract states. They sent a team out and they caulked around everything until someone could come out Monday July 11 2022. The ceiling started leaking MUCH worse after the "correction". Monday I called the project manager at 8pm asking what time he would be out the next day since no one had shown up, to which he said around 10am. He then tried to cancel however it was supposed to rain for the next 7 days. So after I called and continually stated my concern of damage, he came out Tuesday July 12. He said the piece would have to be ordered and would be in Friday at 10am and they would replace that day. Also he would fix the flashing that was installed but not water tight on the chimney and the flashing they just nailed to the old flashing. That day he also nailed a bent piece of flashing to make a "rain blocker". Friday he called and said they would be here Monday 18 July. Monday came and went, no call no show. So now it’s Tuesday July 19 2022 and I’m getting ready to call places to get estimates to fix their work. They have no quality control, pride in their work or decency to call their customer to move a date. It just leaves you to guess when they might show up and fix this 49 day old roof, or call continually to get another excuse. They have already been paid in full for the job and this is currently "warranty work". It’s absolutely ridiculous, I just want what I paid for, a leak free worry free new roof. This is not damage due to product failure, this is negligence as they just caulked the heat stack flashing to the roof. I would avoid at all costs, you get what you pay for and there is a reason the insurance chose them (cheapest bid). I hope this helps someone and they can learn from my mistakes.

Andrews Roofing just completed replacing my 98 year old standing seam metal roof in a historic district. The experience, completed roof & communication was fabulous. I walked into their office unannounced one day & Jeri & another representative took the time to discuss my concerns...prior to even being asked to provide an estimate. I needed specific information to satisfy the historic board requirements as well as grant requirements & they provided what I needed. Billie Mason responded quickly to all of my concerns/questions prior to me signing the contract. Doug & David demonstrated extreme patience in answering my questions during the job, explaining the installation process & addressing my concerns as the job progressed. The only issue I had was damaged siding when they removed the dormer siding to install the new roof but the damaged pieces were replaced promptly. They deserve a 10 star review...5 for communication & 5 for the roof.

Last Monday, 12 August, 2024 (7:00am to 5:30pm), we received a new roof replacement after 31 years: Andrews Roofing removed existing asphalt shingles; replaced 3 compromised or rotten decking; removed existing, roof-mounted attic fan, and closed in hole with decking to current building code; removed existing static vents, and closed in hole to current building code; replaced all flashing, including pipe collars and around chimney; Installed ridge-vents where applicable; Installed new underlayment; and Installed new aphalt (pewter color) architectural shingles.

We could not be more pleased with our choice in roofing. Workmanship was excellent. The team of workers that can out were very proficient paying attention to our concerns and a plus to leaving our yard as they found it. They worked hard and stayed diligent even as the day was extremely hot. We appreciate this company and their commitment to details in outstanding customer service. Just to mention a few. The office manager Jeri. She knows her job well and a great personality.. an asset to the company. Joe came out for the estimate and was timely getting back to us. Chris.. superintendent goes over and above expectations. Thank you all for outstanding service! Highly recommended company …you will not be disappointed.

Andrew's Roofing is the roofing company you want. They have done dozens of roof installs for our new construction homes, and even more roof replacements for us. The roofers are quick, clean, and thorough; and the office staff is highly professional. I know that when I award them a contract I will have no issues and a very happy homeowner when they're done.
