Black Diamond Roofing

What a great experience! Everyone was professional and the roof turned out great. Special shout out to Aaron who went above and beyond to help me with the decision, the financing, and stayed in contact with me through the whole process. He took pictures and shared them with me so I knew what was going on. He even stopped by to walk the site to make sure it was clean! How about that for service? I highly recommend Black Diamond—ask for Aaron!

We needed a new roof with improved ventilation to our attic. Of all the quotes we received, Black Diamond's stood out. It was a good price for quality work, and Jake (Estimator) was friendly and took his time going over everything. The roof replacement took two days, and the roofing crew was polite and efficient. Our neighbors have already complimented us on how great our new roof looks!

We have never been so excited to write a review. To say that Black Diamond roofing is exceptional is an understatement. From the very first moment we met Aaron to the last nail being cleaned up we have been beyond extremely satisfied. Black Diamond goes above and beyond to make sure all needs are met. The crew always showed up on time and worked so well together that it expressed how much pride they take in their job. We were treated with nothing but respect from everyone. I normally don't bother wasting my time writing up a negative review of a product or business, but Black Diamond's repair was inadequate for the performance of the work and the customer service response. After nearly 2 months of attempting to get on the schedule (quoted in October 2024, worked in December 2024), we had Black Diamond remove a deck on top of a flat membrane roof, install new flashing to fix a leak near the walls, as well as perform an inspection of the roofing material before re-installation of the deck. Shame on us for not inspecting the work thoroughly before we paid (lesson learned), after it rained a couple weeks later we called to tell them that their repair was unsatisfactory, their solution was a quote for a similar amount to replace the roofing and decking (supposedly in "satisfactory shape" only 1 month prior). Not only was the roofing visibly in poor condition, but they left garbage like old screws in the gutters, there are unsealed penetrations in the roofing for water to percolate through from the old deck screw holes, and the newly installed flashing wasn't sealed well (see the image of the massive gaps in their glue job). I would never recommend them to anyone I know, if you're satisfied with their work ours must've been an extraordinary case, but from our personal interactions with the company they were unacceptable.

The roof of my garage was completely rotted out; water was seeping through and leaking on family memories and even water damaged some of my most treasured family photos. Losing my father in 2025 put me and my family in a drastic financial predicament which forced us to unfortunately lose focus on our garage roof; Jake, from Black Diamond came out and took a look at our garage roof, told us, he’d see what he could do (mind you, I lost my father this year and since then, me and my family were financially struggling); he was able to do my ENTIRE garage roof for no cost. I’m at a loss for words and me and my family can’t thank Black Diamond enough. They came at 7-7:30 am, the second they arrived they got to working, left for work at 9:00, by then the garage roof was already stripped! Left for work and my mother gives me a call at 2:00 saying "They’re done!". My garage is about 700-800 SQFT (my own guess). They finished the garage roof, it looks beautiful! I don’t have any pictures at the moment since I can’t add them to my review but me and my family are just shocked and in disbelief that such a generous company like Black Diamond would come out, and do this for us, we appreciate you Jake and your team so much! Thank you guys! Wish I could of saw the entire process, saw the beginning and the end product at least, it’s beautiful. Again, thank you guys so much for everything you did! You guys rock!

Black Diamond roofing has been great. Started off with quick easy patches after wind storms and turned into a full new roof job a few years later. Josh was awesome with his flexibility by allowing a change during the new roofing process and it didn't slow them down.

We needed to redo our roofing because our old roof was approaching its end of life. Our search and references from our friends showed that Black Diamond Roofing has very good reputation and that they do a great job. When we contacted Black Diamond for an estimate, their sales representative, Aaron came in promptly, inspected the old roof and explained the various roofing options and then sent us an estimate. The estimate was reasonable, and we chose GAF Timberline HDZ shingles for roof with 50 year material and 10 year workmanship warranty. On the roofing day, five workers arrived at our place and set to work. They were apparently well-trained and were safety conscious because they all wore harnesses when they were on top of the roof. They worked diligently, first stripping the old roof off that took half a day, and for rest of day they went ahead lay the new roofing. After the roofing was completed, the workers diligently cleaned up all scraps of old shingles around the property and using a magnet also collected stray roofing nails. When the job was finished, Josh, the owner of the company, inspected the finished roof to make sure the job had been done appropriately. Overall, Black Diamond Roofing is a very dependable company, and their roofing work is above par at reasonable cost. We highly recommend this well-established local company roofing work.
