Somewhat disappointed. We agreed a few days before what day they were going to show up and do the work. I was at working that day and agreed they could show up and do the work while I wasnt home. Day of I get no phonecall. I wait until 2pm and call them to find out they apparently showed up and finished already. Thats great but I would have appreciated "hey im going to be there in an hour, anything I should know?" Or "hey we finished the work, everything went fine". I had a tarp on my roof to cover the leak I had that I forgot to take down before they showed up. I should have taken it down before to be fair, it was tied in like 8 places and would have taken me 5 minute before work, I just forgot. What I returned home to was the tarp half anchored to the side of my building haphazardly thrown on the ground in a big pile. Again not the end of the world but if this is the kind of care and attention to detail they do on the small things it makes me worry about the work they did on my roof. That all being said the roof repair looks ok? I dont really know, nobody called me or talked to me and I dont know anything about roof repair so I guess I just hope there are no issues.

One of the most important considerations I make when chosing a company to work with, especially on big ticket items, is their ability/willingness to fix any mishaps or things that have gone wrong. Fantastic experience with this company. We just barely bought an older house in Magna, built in the 30s. Less than two months in we noticed a leak coming from the ceiling directly below the old swamp cooler ‍ stressed we called a couple roofing companies in the area, and S&S was the only one who actually answered the phone and provided an up front quote. They were even able to get us scheduled for that Saturday! We paid about $2000 to have them remove the old swamp cooler and patch the roof; the replaced the shingles and ice/water guard. The roof is a bit older and probably will need to be replaced in the future so these guys will definitely be in my top consideration when it has to happen due to their timeliness, friendliness and communication. Even got a cash discount, really pleased with the whole experience.
