Sears Appliance Repair

Sears home service has got to be the worst service we’ve experienced. It took 3 weeks for parts to come and numerous rescheduling of appointments on the company’s part. When technician finally showed up 5 weeks later he installed sensors and said we’ll need to wait 24 hours before using refrigerator. He never checked to see if codes were still blinking or checked to feel if air was coming from vents inside refrigeration or freezer. Refrigerator never did come on so we still have a non working refrigerator. Very disappointed and requesting our refrigerator get repaired and working properly asap. We will be filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau against Sears Home Services!

By far the best customer service & completed job that I have ever experienced. Dennis is very courteous & knowledgeable. He diagnosed & fixed the issue with my A/C quickly & efficiently. I was very impressed with him

They've rescheduled our repair appointment 2 times in the past week and now have rescheduled it again for an additional week out with no reason given. Each time they waited until the middle of our service appointment time to notify us that nobody would be showing up. They do not have live agents so you can only speak with an AI who is unable yo do anything other than schedule or reschedule appointments. Definitely not a customer friendly/oriented company.

My tech was Michael M and he is an absolute awesome genius. He was so great and talked with me about and explained everything. He was fast and so efficient. I have already washed three loads and two of those blankets. Left my laundry room so clean.

Well, I guess you can say it’s Sears from back in the day and still on a job as always and doing a fine job, I gave them all five stars across because they really are very detailed when they come to your house for the repair and they explain everything to you because of course you’re gonna have questions on your appliance because You paid a lot of money for at first of all and you wanna know why it’s doing the way it’s doing so they were real good upfront up close with Everything brought me in closer and showed me everything that I needed to know and everything looks really really good. It’s just that Sometimes the news is good sometimes it’s not as good but at least the technician will definitely let you know what your problem was and go from there.

Your technician Michael was excellent. He did the job and was professional. However, your service as far as getting a technician out to my home is next to impossible. I have been calling sears to get a repairman to fix my dryer from May 30, all the way to June 24. The part was ordered twice. It didn't arrive the first time and when it did I notified Sears as instructed. But they never updated their records. So all this time, they kept saying they're waiting for a part, and I called for a whole week straight to get that message across. I requested multiple times for a supervisor and they never gave me a supervisor. Finally, a supervisor called on the day that they said they couldn't call but I didn't get to talk to him because I was not available to answer the phone. I called American Home shield to complain and I requested never to send another Sears employee repairman to my home again. I will not let them work on my appliances anymore. I give Sears -1 for customer service. I had several doctor's appointments, employment appointments that I had to juggle around to accommodate Sears screw up when they stood me up multiple times. I have spoken to 2 people in my circle of friends and both agreed that Sears gives bad service as well. So this is not something new.

Poor follow-through. Technician was fine. Dryer was assessed and parts were ordered for our older (10 years?) gas dryer. Technician was scheduled to return, but parts never arrived, so he couldn't service the machine. Technician reordered the parts. Days later, we received an email stating that we were being refunded the cost of the parts, but not the visit. No explanation from Sears as to why we couldn't get the parts. A simple call saying anything like "due to the age of your machine, we can no longer obtain parts," would have been helpful.
