Kamran with Star Lighting was so easy to work with. He is friendly, very knowledgeable and timely. What else can you ask for in an electrician. He’s a problem solver. He replaced all light switches and electric outlets after our home renovation. He was very competitive with his pricing and showed up every day on time. He works alone to ensure that the quality of work is up to his standards. I’d use him again for any electrical work. Thank you Kamran for taking care of our house and family.

Kamran did an amazing job removing a 20’ tall ceiling fan and replacing it with a new one. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional electrician, and did not miss a beat replacing and installing new switches as well. He was extremely patient and flexible with my requests, and I highly recommend Kamran to everyone!

I’m not sure why this did not work out for us but I am sharing my experience so others can possibly benefit from it. Kamran gave me a quote to replace two light fixtures in my home. When he arrived and got all his ladders all set up, he then told me that it would be an additional $50 for him to remove the old lights. I had sent him photos of our home and the fixtures that were currently in place and also sent him photos of the new lights to be replaced and he NEVER mentioned a cost to take the old lights down which was why I was so surprised and asked him why he hadn’t told me that when he sent me the quote. He said he usually does but hadn’t which I didn’t feel was my wrong on my part to be surprised. I asked him if he would install a dimmer switch which I had already purchased and he said yes he would for the additional $30 which was fair as I had not mentioned it previously. He did ask me if I wanted both the lights at the same height as they previous lights had been and I said I did. When I saw the dining room table light installed I did ask him if we could lower it a little bit since it was a totally new fixture and it looked like it needed to come down a few links. He said he would but he would charge me extra even though he was standing right there and had just hung it up. I understand I did change my mind on the height but that seems part of the job to adjust to your customer liking when installing a new light fixture. I declined as I was so frustrated at this point and decided if I had to pay him to lower it I might as well pay someone else to do it (admittedly also on principal of not wanting to have to repay someone whom I had just paid to install the light to make an adjustment!). When he left, my house was a mess and he looked at it and said "sorry about the mess". He told me he could not take away any of the old lights, which is fine, but left them sitting there with all the boxes and garbage on my floor then watched me carry them out by myself. I asked him if he would help me move the dining room table back in place he said he doesn’t really like to touch customers items but he will this time. I said it’s okay I’ll wait for my husband to come home. My new lights were installed properly and evenly and they work great. Decide for yourself if you want to use him just relaying my experiences as I hired him based on all the positive reviews. I would just like to include in his response that he did quote me to uninstall the item. After I posted this review, I went back on our text and I did see that he quoted me to uninstall it. I’ll attach a photo. And in fact, he did not offer to clean up any of it and watched me while I did it. Again, everybody should make their own decisions, but his interpretation is very different than mine of quality of workmanship and wanting a customer to be happy and not just making money on a job.

I hired Kamran to replace 2 ceiling fans in my home, one in which was in an >12 foot ceiling, and he did a great job, was professional and thorough. I highly recommend Kamran for electrical services.
